Café Gorgone ja apartments — Restaurant in Municipality of Milopotamos

Taverna / apartments Gorgona is beautiful , it’s located just in-front of the sea front just as you enter Bali. It’s in a great location next to the supermarket and other shops with everything you need at your doorstep. The location is beautiful and the rooms are cleaned everyday by the lovely Christina who is very friendly and makes everyone feel welcome! The rooms have a lovely bathroom and comfy beds and a fridge and plenty of storage.

The hotel/taverna is run by family and friends and they take great attention to detail to make sure everything is perfect. The food from the taverna is amazing! The best in Bali!!! Traditional Greek food and many other options! Breakfast always has bread, scrambled / fried / boiled eggs, sausages, bacon and fresh fruits, Greek yogurt and many other options available everyday. :)

The best part of taverna is the presentation and atmosphere of everything. The taverna / seating area’s / pool area are beautiful. Flowers, trees plants and water features enhance the areas natural beauty making for a relaxed zen experience. There is something very special about this place and the area, if anybody is looking for a beautiful relaxed place to stay in Bali with friendly people who cook amazing fresh food then I couldn’t recommend Gorgona Hotel /...

Great place to have a lunch, when you're at Livadi beach. It is not located close to the beach, so not many visitors are there, which makes the place quiet and you get your order much quicker as in any other taverna.

Moreover it has a pool, which can be used by visitors, and a playground for small children.

The dishes are more or less same as in similar taverns, but we liked the taste of food in Gorgona more. Don't know, of these are spices or a good cook or both.

The waiters are kind and do their job very well.

It's a pity, that we've discovered this taverna on our last days, otherwise we'd visit...

Δυστυχώς, αποτελεί την χειρότερη επιλογή για την περιοχή. Είναι ντροπή για την περιοχή του Μπαλί με τόσα αξιόλογα μαγαζιά αλλά και γενικά για τον χώρο της εστίασης. Κανένας σεβασμός στον πελάτη και στα χρήματα που ξοδεύει σε τέτοιες εποχές. Το φαγητό ήταν κάτω του μετρίου αλλά αυτό που πραγματικά είναι εξοργιστικό είναι η εξυπηρέτηση. Καθίσαμε στο μαγαζί στις 14:00. Ήρθαν να πάρουν παραγγελία μετά από 20' που ήμασταν στο τραπέζι. Τα ποτά ήρθαν μετά από 30' από την παραγγελία. Μετά από άλλα 20' ( κι αφού ήδη τους είχαμε κάνει παρατήρηση για την καθυστέρηση) κατάφεραν να μας φέρουν την σαλάτα και ένα ορεκτικό ( τυροκαυτερή ) όχι κάτι που ήθελε μαγείρεμα). Περίπου στις 15:30 ( κι αφού είχαμε κάνει ξανά παρατήρηση για την καθυστέρηση) έρχεται ο σερβιτόρος και μας λέει ότι δυστυχώς λόγω ατυχήματος του μάγειρα κάποια πιάτα ( ζυμαρικά) δεν θα μπορέσουν να τα φτιάξουν. Τα υπόλοιπα θα τα έφερναν σε λίγο. Λες και μέσα σε μία ώρα που ήδη περιμέναμε ήταν δύσκολο να φέρουν γεμιστά και μοσχαράκι στιφάδο που είναι ήδη μαγειρεμένα.Το σε λίγο ήταν 30'. Όλα τα υπόλοιπα είναι ανάξια πλέον αναφοράς. Κρίμα για τον κόσμο που το προτίμησε και περίμενε πάνω από 1 ώρα στο τραπέζι έως ότου σηκωνόταν κι έφευγε. Δεν είχαν καν το φιλότιμο να βγουν να πουν ότι λόγω κάποιου προβλήματος δεν μπορούμε να σας εξυπηρετήσουμε. Αδιαφορία για τα πάντα. Κρίμα και πάλι κρίμα. Μακριά, υπάρχουν άλλα μαγαζιά στην περιοχή αρκετά σοβαρά και με σεβασμό...
