From the moment you arrive, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of serene beauty, where the sea provides the perfect backdrop for a dining experience unlike any other.
The service at Hanabi Sushi is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we were seated until the last bite of dessert, we were attended to with grace and attentiveness. What truly stood out was the genuine care and attention to detail; our waiter never once pushed us towards the most expensive items on the menu, allowing us to explore and savor the diverse offerings at our own pace—an admirable quality that ensured a truly personalized dining experience.
And what an experience it was! The culinary delights that graced our table left us speechless. From the perfectly seasoned edamame to the melt-in-your-mouth salmon tartare and the flavorful chicken dumplings, each starter set the stage for a culinary journey unlike any other.
The main courses were equally impressive, showcasing the skill and creativity of the chefs at Hanabi Sushi. From the succulent hoisin duck noodles to the fresh and flavorful salmon avocado roll and the indulgent futo-tuna fry roll, each dish was a symphony of flavors and textures that left us craving more.
But the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the off-menu tableside cooked ribeye—a true feast for the senses that left us speechless. And as if that wasn't enough, the yuzu lime tart and the off-menu chocolate truffle filled with mango sorbet, accompanied by a tableside amaretto flambé, provided the perfect ending to a culinary extravaganza.
After 15 days of exploring Greece, Hanabi Sushi left an indelible impression on us—one that will linger in our memories for years to come. From the stunning outdoor seating area to the outstanding food and impeccable service, this restaurant is a true oasis for discerning diners.

Read moreI've heard that there is starting to be very good sushi in Athens, but sadly it did not make it to Milos. We had several roles (salmon roll, yellowtail roll), as well as the spicy beef "ramen." After 3 days of greek food, we decided to try our luck with some other cuisine.
The rolls were all over €20 each, and were not particularly large. Quality was just ok - they did not taste particularly fresh, and were all drenched in sauce. I've had better sushi quality in the middle of Louisville Kentucky in the United States (which is nowhere near the ocean).
The spicy beef "ramen" was at least only €10, but it was served in a shallow bowl the size of a medium saucer. It was also made with rice noodles - it didn't even try to approximate ramen.
The service was passable, and I think they sensed our displeasure - they comp'd us a few wines for our table. With that said, they seemed to just be standing out on the main walk and aggressively trying to lure customers in - which seemed to cheapen the experience.
Like most things in Pollonia, the ambience was wonderful - right on the water, and very chic. But I should have known better than to try and get sushi in the middle of...
Read moreWe really liked the design of the place. The prices are comparatively high (8 basic inside out up to 20 euro and even more). One could say its expensive. Yes, in terms of sushi its hard to satisfy us (after eating sushi all over the world and especially in our hometown its pretty common). So we expected awesome food. But its just very basic, nothing fancy, no special taste. Tbh this is 50% of what sushi can be. Maybe less. Owner should travel a bit to see what the world has to offer in terms of good sushi.
We wanted to pay then and she asked for a tip!? I think this is rude. She didnt even asked how we liked the food.
In the beginning we said we dont drink alcohol, so the friendly sir put the cocktail menue away. In the end we got rum shots. This shouldnt happen in a upper restaurant.
Additionally you have to pay 2 euro per person for the hygiene gel dispenser and few ml of soy souce. No one told us before. Well, its a basic principle of a sushi restaurant that you dont have to pay for your soy sauce. In terms of the hygiene gel dispenser on our table, the staff used it...
