We walked along the seafront street and loved the vibe that Nama exudes. Staff was happy and bustling about with romantic tables on the beach and more perched above all overlooking a charming bay with small boats.. The menu looked interesting and the experience that followed just blew us away. We had started in Athens and had already spent nearly a week each in Paros, Bacos and Santorini, but Milos captured our hearts and Nama was a big part. Everything we tried was outstanding, the service was exemplary with such a relaxed and welcoming feeling with subtle attentiveness and promptness that made you feel like family. We loved the restaurant so much we chose to eat most our dinners here. We realized, after four weeks of island hopping, that we had discovered a true local treasure. The food quality was amazingly consistent and we especially enjoyed the fried calamari which was so tender with perfectly crisp light batter and mild slightly sweet taste, the lamb chops were mouthwatering good and juicy, the pomegranate salad was unique and so so good and the zucchini linguine was quite tasty. Even the fries are perfect. The mussels in ouzo were outstanding and the appetizers such as Santorini fava were great. The orange cake was the best we had. Portions and pricing were just right - definitely a good value for the money and nice range of items to fit your pricing. Table wine is awesome, but many others to choose as well. Menu well balanced with appetizers, seafood, meats, pasta and salads. This restaurant has the ambience, vibe, food and service without the high prices you might expect in such a charming seaside village. The owners are local and present who keep the feeling authentic and not touristy at all in this lively seaside...

My visit to Nama in Milos was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The restaurant beautifully blends modern elegance with a cozy, island-inspired charm, setting the perfect ambiance for an unforgettable meal.
The food was truly exceptional! Every dish was crafted with fresh, local ingredients and presented with care. The flavors were vibrant, authentic, and clearly inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Greece. I highly recommend the seafood options – the fish was perfectly cooked, and the octopus was the best I’ve ever had! Every bite was a testament to their commitment to quality.
The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering fantastic recommendations that made the meal even more special.
If you’re in Milos, Nama is an absolute must-visit. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a memorable dining experience, you won't be disappointed. I can’t wait to return!

Read moreI saw the great reviews so decided to try it and to be honest, I wasn’t impressed. I ordered saganaki shrimps and about 5 minutes later, 6 overcooked prawns in loads of sauce arrived (I’m absolutely convinced they were frozen - why aren’t they using fresh prawns with a restaurant sitting right on the harbour!) There was no bread served with it to mop up the sauce so I asked for some. Before the bread arrived, the main course came! The service is very fast (I appreciate they are busy but it feels very rushed with everyone running around like crazy!) The ‘dish of the day’ was roast chicken leg with roast potatoes and it was very dry, there was no sauce or anything - completely different to the starter! The bread was of really poor quality as well, it was cheap, sliced supermarket bread and wasn’t very fresh. As a chef, I was really disappointed and there are much better places to eat just a few metres away. The staff are really friendly and the...
