I came here on my first night in Naxos. It was difficult to choose a place to eat because there are so many in Chora, but I ended up here because I really wanted the stuffed vegetables.
I was really happy with the meal. The serving was generous - not like an appetizer sized meal, which I was concerned it would be, and it tasted incredible. For clarity's sake, the picture I've included was after I had taken a bite.
My only quibble about the evening is that I didn't feel like the service was great. Actually, given it was my first night in Naxos it kinda set an underwhelming tone for the start of the trip. I found (as I have found at other places since) that the service staff just weren't at all friendly and didn't seem particularly interested at all - perhaps moreso given I'm traveling solo.

Read moreWent for dinner here twice, first night food was very good, I had grilled Octopus, which was excellent and my wife had stuffed Peppers which she said were good. We shared a Greek salad and it had nice Naxian Cheese. Afterwards, we had four excellent dishes: a whole grilled sea bass and three traditional cooked dishes: the rosto with grilled pork and lots of delicious braised vegetables, a traditional lamb dish (keflati?) and an eggplant with veal in tomato sauce (the best dish I've had in Greece. Every dish was tasty and generously sized. The staff and service was friendly, informed and efficient. You can not go wrong...
