I have never written a negative review in my life. Whenever I did not enjoy a place for personal reasons, I simply chose not to leave a review at all. But this experience was so extreme, so humiliating, and so deeply disturbing that I feel it is my responsibility to share it.
Our experience at this restaurant was not simply disappointing but traumatic. We visited as a group of eight, and from the very beginning, the service was unacceptable. The food was delayed for at least an hour. At one point, my mother politely asked the waiter about some additional drinks we had ordered. Instead of responding professionally, he reacted aggressively and sarcastically, which shocked us.
My father intervened calmly, asking the waiter to be more respectful and polite. Rather than resolving the situation, the waiter escalated his hostility and became even more provocative. At that point, we asked to speak with the owner, expecting professionalism and a reasonable approach.
Unfortunately, the owner’s behavior was even worse. Instead of apologizing, he raised his voice in front of the entire restaurant and insulted my father by saying he was “barking like a dog.” My father is a 60-year-old man who recently had a medical issue affecting his mouth, which makes communication more difficult, especially in a noisy environment with loud music. This remark was not only offensive but also deeply demeaning and inhumane.
The situation was so outrageous that if my companions had not stopped me, I would have called the police for severe verbal abuse and humiliation. When I told the owner that his behavior was unacceptable, his response was, “I don’t care, other tourists will come anyway.”
Such an attitude toward customers shows a complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic respect. Our experience was humiliating and disturbing, and we would not wish it upon anyone else. We will never return to this place and cannot recommend...
Read more!!!The most shocking restaurant experience I’ve ever had unsafe food, abusive chef, and zero accountability!!!
I never write reviews, but what happened here with my family was so outrageous and disturbing that people need to be warned for their own safety.
We ordered chicken, and when it arrived, the inside was red and undercooked. Raw chicken is a serious health hazard that can cause salmonella or food poisoning. Any responsible restaurant would have taken this seriously. Instead, nobody came to check on us, the music was blasting so loud that it felt chaotic, and service was basically nonexistent.
When we finally told the waiter at the end of our meal, he admitted the chicken looked raw and took the plates to the chef. He came back later saying the chef refused to do anything no apology, no discount and told us to go argue with the chef ourselves.
When we did, the situation became absolutely unacceptable. The chef denied everything, even though the waiter had seen the undercooked chicken. When I explained how dangerous it was, the chef started swearing, shouting insults and even told me he hoped I would end up in the hospital after eating his food. Instead of showing any concern, he was hostile, aggressive, and abusive.
To make matters worse, they still made us pay full price for food that was literally unsafe to eat. No responsibility, no care for customer health just arrogance and insults.
This is more than a bad restaurant it’s a public health risk. Serving raw chicken and then verbally abusing customers who complain is completely unacceptable. If this happened anywhere else, it would be grounds for serious investigation and possible closure.
For your own safety and peace of mind, avoid this place...
Read moreThe Flamingo Restaurant and Bar are for you if you want Greek music and dancing, and plates shattering. The musicians are very good. While this is all good fun, the staff, unfortunately, are a major disappointment and put a damper on what we hoped would be a fun evening. Upon arriving for our reservation, we were asked to wait. This wasn't a big deal, but then after we passed two empty tables they seated us against the musicians amongst the shattering plates. Sitting at this table would mean people would be breaking plates with shards flying while we're eating. We asked to be moved to one of the other open tables, but they claimed they were reserved. At the other table we asked for, they seated a couple who requested and was moved to a different table and we're obliged. Then they seated another couple who also requested and was seated at an alternate table. Finally, they allowed us to move there. Then they moved our original table, connecting it to another making my friend and the guest at that table basically sit on top of each other blocking the walkway for waiters and other diners. When our appetizer came out, we didn't know the waiter came up behind us, he shoved it between us, hitting my friend in the face with the plate. The appetizer of fried zucchini and eggplant were undercooked and soggy. For dinner I had the pork tenderloin, which was ok. My friend had the grilled calamari, which she said was delicious. Overall, as I said, this could have been a fun experience, but the...
