Me and my girlfriend thought we’d try out Lotto while we were walking along the harbour. We were kindly met by one of two waiters. He made eyecontact and shook both me and my girlfriend hands like a real man/gentleman should. The service was impecceble and was filled with smiles and laughs. The other waiter was also such a kind soul who asked where we were from. We told him we were from Norway and a big smile appeard on his face. Then he said "Hyggelig å møte dere". The two waiters made the whole experience so warm and welcoming.
Not only was the service incredible. The food was also high standard and perfectly cooked. I had the T-bone steak and it is hands down the utter best piece of meat ive ever tasted. My girlfriend ordered a strawberry daquiry that was exactly how a daquiry should be. Not to strong alcohol taste but just right, and the thickness was perfect. We later came back 3 times for the food, drinks and for our two new friends!
I would like to thank both of our two favourite greek friends at Lotto for your hospitality and kindness. And hands down to the cook. We will be coming back as soon as we touch down at Naxos another time. Untill...
Read moreOne of the best breakfast, brunch places that fills your stomach with good quality , quantity and friendly staff. The friendly gentleman who took care of our order on day 1 shared travel recommendations and was the reason we were able to attempt the hike to Mount Zas and drive through the neighbouring villages. We were here twice and plan to go back tomorrow before heading out of Naxos. The staff are super friendly. We had brunch on day 1 and the pic i have included shows the English breakfast options and a vegetarian option. The fresh orange juice is top notch. Day 2 we decided to go light and had the omelette with onions, tomatoes and yogurt with fresh fruits. Both options - top notch on taste, quality. Please go here and enjoy one of the best food...
Read moreWe had a dog with us. They never offered water for the dog which would be nice but whatever. The waitress accidentally stepped our dog’s foot and she barked at her. The waitress murmured a few f-words. Not only didn’t she apologise but every time she heard our dog barking (which was inevitable since she had felt attacked and frustrated after the incident) the same waitress kept on looking at our table furious murmuring again and again. We were obviously not welcome there, so we left. Not a pet friendly cafe or pet friendly waitress for that matter. P.S. the coffee sucked. Very unpleasant way to start our day since we went there...
