Deoudas — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

I’ll start by saying, on the beach, every restaurant owns a section with their sun beds, each ones requires you to pay at least 20 for the sunbed then spend a minimum of around 30 euros this place didnt charge for sunbeds, and just had a minimum spending requirement of 20 euros during the whole day per person (we spent 40 for two) and the sunbeds were one of the best quality sunbeds on that beach The food was very cheap compared to the prices around it, and the food itself was amazing compared to normal beach restaurant food We got 1 beer (500 ml) 1 mojito (big cup), iced tea, grapefruit lemonade, club sandwich with fries, and a cheese bacon burger with fries just for 45 euros (sunbeds included for free) The portions were huge and the food was amazing quality and flavor

The service was perfect, the lady was very nice and friendly even though she had to keep running in the sand between the tables back to the restaurant the whole day

Overall we spent 45 euros for a whole day on the beach with many drinks and food

Honestly? Disappointing. The restaurant looks nice and the waiter was friendly, but everything else was horrible. We ordered our food. About an hour went by before we got served! Many other tables, that had arrived after us, got their food way earlier. It seemed like they had forgotten us, but then the waiter reassured us our food was ready but not plated (?). Cue to the actual food... I personally got the tomato sauce veal with spaghetti. The meat was dry, tasteless, you could hardly cut it with a knife, let alone chew on it. The spaghetti definitely needed more boiling time and the tomato sauce seemed to be ready-made (and not tasty). Moreover, it didn't even seem like the meat had been cooked in the actual sauce... The lack of grated cheese made this plate, with all its mistakes, unbearable to eat. I don't know if it was a bad day for them, but I won't be giving them a...

Mealtime:Dinner, Group:couple, Drinks:table water and pilsner beers. Orders:greek salad and sardines with roast; potato,carrots and zucchinis. Comments:nothing out of the ordinary, same menu as most restaurants you find along the beach. Well cooked fish, sparse vegetable accompaniment,greek salad was generous with tomatoes and was basic but good.We didn't want a big meal and it cost 27.00 euros. We liked it, it was simple and normal pricing for the holiday beachside place.Probably. Could do without the 4 cats entering the restaurant, one cat sat next to us for some time like a dog waiting for scraps, unnerving because I had sardines...felt like any moment it was going to steal my fish haha.
