Skantzochoiros — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

Probably the only night bar in the island. We went there every night while in Donousa. Our first time, the service was very slow and we had to wait to order and pay. The remaining times service was ok. The waiters were friendly and polite with us. Limited cocktail options with no capacity to make something not on the menu. Drinks in general were ok but cocktails could be done better. The atmosphere is good but the music could be better. Not a bad option but not great, likely due to lack of any...

This place is the reason we no longer go to this otherwise wonderful island. Deafening music until 4am. The whole place is filled with sound - you can't even hear the sound of the sea anymore. I really can't understand why nobody is doing anything about it. Apparently the owner can do whatever he wants and nobody in town is doing anything, although almost all guests feel massively disturbed. It's a shame - otherwise I would have come...

Service existiert hier nicht. In dieser Situation: 6 Angestellte, die an der Bar sitzen und in ihre Telefone starren, rauchen, essen. 5 Tische. Man muss an die Bar gehen, um eine Karte zu bekommen, man muss an die Bar gehen, um ein Getränk zu bestellen, 1h mit leerem Glas warten, bis man gefragt wird, ob alles ok ist. Nein, ist es nicht. Ich hätte in der Zeit gerne noch einen Cocktail getrunken (der war ok), habe mehrmals überlegt, einfach zu gehen. Dann aber doch bezahlt und mit einem schlechten Gefühl weg. Schade, die Lage und die Atmosphäre ist sehr schön. Ich habe lange in der Gastro gearbeitet und frage mich gefragt, wie wenig man verdienen muss und/oder wie schlecht die Stimmung im Team sein muss, um sich so wenig um die Gäste und den...
