Vlassi's Family — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

I want to first say that the prices are amazing, for 30€ (Which is very cheap for that zone) you get 1 umbrella with 2 sunbeds and a parking lot (I wasn't able to find parking anywhere else). Also it's a family business which I think is pretty cool and outside the tavern it said that the vegetables and fruits are from their own garden and that the wine is also made from their vineyard and the meat and dairy is produced locally. I can't say too much about the food because I only had a coffee and a fruit salad and I liked them, the staff is really nice as well and the food came really fast. Very poor service, our mains were not edible! My fiances calamari came out drenched in oil and the worst part is that they were uncleaned the calamaris MOUTH AND RAZOR SHARP TEETH had been left inside! I ordered cod it was clearly frozen, so salty that one mouthful put me off eating anything more. It came with a 'garlic puree' which in actual fact was half a plate of chopped garlic and onion in a thick textured sauce, again inedible as the garlic was so overpowering! Ordered the lamb chops w/ fries and the Naxios wine, which is their homemade wine. Not great, but it was inexpensive so I can’t complain. Lamb was quite dry and tough, like it was cooked earlier and sat under a heat lamp for hours. The wine tasted like diluted whisky, much like saki tastes like diluted vodka to me. I didn’t like it, but you might. Also ordered a frappe cappuccino, which my wife liked. €20 for a bed on the beach all day and €22.80 for the food.
