Booked from 10th July 2025 to the 24th. |Two weeks bed & breakfast.|Family of 3, myself, wife and my almost 17yr old boy. ||Greeted by staff from coach transfer and carried bags and cases in for us.|Checked in within minutes, everything was explained from hotel tax €10 a night for room, aircon included and safe deposit in room €20 a week.||We had room 42, look to the right and Mountain View’s, look left and sea view/pool view, stunning. |Mezzanine with big double, very comfortable, wardrobes, chest of drawers, hair dryer etc….|Lounge was a comfy single, a sofa bed also, decent fridge and coffee making facilities.|Shower room was good size and a decent shower. ||Rooms cleaned daily, towels every other day, bedding every 3 days. |Cleaning staff are lovely. ||Pool bar staff very friendly and will do anything to help and serve you. |Some drinks are a little expensive but you’re on holiday. |Iced coffee was great especially if you asked for caramel sauce in which they’d never heard of!! |€4 and a big glass too. |Draught beer was Corfu beer at €5 a pint, decent too. |Homemade lemonade is 10/10, €3 in a small jug thing. |Pool cleaned very regular, sun beds are 18 inches thick!!! Super comfy memory foam. |When it gets busy towels are placed early doors. |Grounds are kept very today, catching the sea breeze sunbathing in the gardens as pool area gets boiling. |Hotel, breakfast is perfect and eating out the front dining area was amazing!!|All staff are English speaking and happy to help with anything. |Reception staff are polite, knowledgeable and again help with anything. |The old chap, owner most probably was always friendly and never failed to say good morning!!||We ate at the hotel a couple of nights and no complaints of the food 10/10, cocktails 10/10, bar staff 10/10.||Greek night on a Wednesday was a blast, be prepared to dance!! ||There are paddle boards, kayaks and canoes to use free of charge, steps down to the sea opposite hotel, was in the sea 4 times a day, so shallow and warm. ||Roda village, charming, inviting, a little tacky ( only some places)Roda park, Agrilios, Tex max, Roxanne’s, crazy forks etc…you can’t go wrong!! ||Would I return, absolutely….overall 10/10 , and I booked it without even consulting my wife, and there were no complaints from here either, 10/10 for me 👊🏼👊🏼||Don’t think about booking Coral...

Just returned from a fabulous week at the Hotel Coral, half board basis. Family of 5 in 2 rooms in the garden block, a mezzanine room and a twin bedded room (nos 45 and 52). |We were welcomed from the bus by the receptionist and assisted with cases. Swift check in and explanation of card entry, air con and meals. There are stairs only to the first floor rooms in this block, with lovely views up into the hills. The rooms provide all we wished for, spacious, comfortable beds, free aircon and Wi-Fi, safe €10/wk, hairdryer, toiletries, TV, en-suite with wet room in family room and over bath shower in twin room. Balconies are quite small but accommodate a small table and chairs with a drying rail. Cleaner Maria was lovely and kept our rooms spotlessly clean.|Plenty of comfy sun beds and parasols around the pool and in the garden area which was quieter and peaceful. Book exchange shelf was a nice touch in the outdoor bar area.|The restaurant area was beautiful with stunning views across the sea towards Albania and wonderful sunsets. A set meal was offered on half board with 2 choices of starter and main with salad and bread, main choice could be swapped for an a la carte choice of a certain value which was clearly explained by staff. Adonis, Yannis and lady waitress…. whose name I cannot spell…were amazing, so friendly and helpful and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay.|The Greek night on a Wednesday was an experience to behold and participate in! BBQ night on Sunday with a saxophonist was a lovely way to end our holiday.|The Coral is in a stunning location separated from the beach only by a quiet road, access into the water via wooden steps , sand shoes maybe useful as the first couple of meters can be stony before reaching the soft sand and warm shallow waters. Perfect for the paddle boards and kayak provided. 2 pushbikes and 2 electric bikes also available (adult sizes). I think there are also some fishing rods available.|2 minute walk to the supermarket, 5 mins to the main tourist shops, beach bars and restaurants with ‘free sun beds’, 10 mins to soft sandy beach without sun beds.|Don’t hesitate to book, Roda appeared to appeal to all ages, is gentle and peaceful even in the peak season, lively without being overpowering and the Coral is a jewel in its crown. Thank you to the Coral family...

Our room was quite small but had all amenities. A little disappointed with our balcony which was small with concrete walls on three sides. Not conducive to relax on. We had a view when standing over some of the gardens and the sea to the left.If we were to return I would ask for either a ground floor room with open balcony or a room overlooking the pool -with glass balconies. The bathroom came supplied with a squidgy as it flooded but we learnt how to manage this. Shower was hot and towels were changed daily. The room was spotless and the housekeepers brilliant. The bed was quite hard |The breakfast was good -coffee wasn't great but a good selection of teas. Orange juice terrible which is sad when oranges are literally dropping off the trees. Never saw oranges on the breakfast table or in the restaurant so maybe they aren't sweet enough. |The gardens and plants are beautifully maintained |We were half board so ate dinner in the restaurant .Same menu repeated weekly. Food was ok with room for improvement on some. Main meals came with no accompaniments most of the time. Stifado was very good as were pork steaks |Pizzas and bar snacks were good and reasonably priced. George on the pool bar was brilliant as was all service. |Unfortunately the pool was freezing and you literally came out with blue feet or hands if you touched the sides of the pool. |Staff were all friendly and helpful |Unfortunately we missed bbq night and Greek night due to weather but no alternative was offered other than normal menu. We were never offered the menu at dinner -just the two choices from set menu |Roda itself looked tired and a bit tatty but I guess it was the end of the season so can understand that somewhat. |We found a lovely ice cream bar and a great pastry shop-both Greek owned. |We chose this hotel as a family owned independent hotel and this showed with the friendly hotel team and also for its reasonable price. Lots of guests return year after year and I can appreciate why |It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful position, immaculately kept , looking over the sea to the mountains of Albania. |With a few tweaks this small well kept hotel could...

We booked this hotel because of the very positive ratings on Google and Booking.com but what we found upon arrival was something else: Plus: • Quiet location with fresh air and very near to the village center the same time • Coldstores and restaurants in walking distance • Rather small family-owned hotel with about 50 rooms • Less occupancy which was good in COVID times • Nice view from the terrace and the balcony overlooking the bay and the Albanian mountains at the horizon • Friendly restaurant and bar staff • Nice and clean swimming pool, but small in size • Interesting fruit and vegetable garden in hotel premises Minus: • Website and photographs do not reflect the real conditions on site • Our travel agency promised a lately refurbished/ renovated hotel, which is not the case • Our room was outdated and worn (bathroom installations, furniture) • Our room was remaining not properly cleaned within 2 weeks of our stay (surfaces, mirrors, windows, floor) • Lighting in our room has partly failed to work • Obviously, no surface disinfection was carried out • Our room were much smaller than expected from the specs • No kettle or coffee maker available in the room • Elevator out of order during our entire stay • Very small TV in the room with poor variety of channels • No drying rack for clothes available • Towels were worn and covered with stains • No room service on Sundays • Very basic breakfast • Dinner in canteen quality • No special celebrations (e.g. live music, quiz, barbeque etc.) during our stay • No nice beach to swim in front of the hotel, but in walking distance

Firstly the hotel is a good 3 star but definitely not 4 star. It's right opposite the sea, the staff are really friendly and the food is good. About a 5 minute walk to the shops. The only 'fly in the ointment' is this tourist tax, its an absolute con !! Everybody was complaining but it all falls on deaf ears. We were told we could only pay on the last day and ONLY cash not card and they won't give you a receipt!, (that way they don't declare it). So at the end of a lovely holiday we had to find another €77 cash. For the 2025 season the tourist tax has increased.

This is one of the friendliest hotels I have stayed in. ALL the staff are lovely and helpful. The rooms are perfectly adequate for your needs. The pool is small but that doesn't bother us. Plenty of sunbeds either poolside or in a grassed area. The food was amazing with plenty to choose from. It is well placed near Rhoda with a lovely sea front walk to Akaravi. Local supermarkets provide things you may have forgotten along with snacks etc. Plenty of nightlife in Rhoda starting only 5mins walk away. Would highly recommend this hotel.
