Konaki tavern — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

We had a very disappointing experience at this Greek restaurant. A waiter spilled wine all over me and didn’t even apologize. He completely ignored the situation and walked away as if nothing had happened. Shortly after, he was replaced by another waiter – again, without a word of explanation or concern.

The food was mediocre at best – we only ate it because we were hungry. When we asked for the bill and politely inquired about a discount due to the incident, we were not only told there would be none, but were also rudely asked why we didn’t just leave right after being soaked in wine. That level of arrogance and lack of professionalism is simply unbelievable.

To make it worse, we were falsely accused of bumping into the waiter and causing the spill – which absolutely did not happen.

In the end, we paid the full amount, but the overall experience was appalling. The staff were rude and dismissive, and the management clearly doesn’t care about their customers.

We strongly advise avoiding this place. Mediocre food, disgraceful service, and an attitude that shows zero...

I not been to corfu since 1996 with my family. My wife Sarah and Don anthony and son Stephen and nice lissa does anyone know if this tavern was ever called the corfu corner. Run by damitris we have been trying to find this restaurant as we we were on holiday in 1996 and if it is the same restaurant we went there every day for breakfast and evening meal the owners were great people we still have all the photos just would love to send the photos of damitris and his 2 sons they lived my little boy anthony who was 6 years old can anyone help me I know it's a long time. We went there after reading the positive reviews here. The restaurant was okay. Meat from the barbecue was tasteful, especially the stuffed pork belly. Employees were kind to the guest but shouting to each other. Now might this shouting be a Greek tradition because we see it everywhere (supermarket, cafes, etc.), but in this case probably things went wrong because we saw full plates return to the kitchen and also our starter, a soup with a funny taste, was served after the main course. If this is really a family restaurant then I won't expect these family members to see each other outside work because they didn't really seem to like each other.
