Mediterraneo Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

The children's food was of a better quality than the steaks which me and my partner had, I chose the T bone Steak which was literally wafer thin (never seen a steak so thin) and completely unseasoned and the boss had sirloin steak in peppercorn sauce. We joked with the waiter that she wanted it VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY well done... Like leather! And when it was served it was bleeding into the sauce and so she couldn't eat it. After speaking with the waitress the plate was taken away and I presume rinsed of sauce and cooked further, this time no blood. And it was extremely small, I suspect around 5-6 ounces Max. My eldest daughter reports that her Spaghetti carbanara was beautiful... And it did look lovely but I didn't taste it.

I had the Garlic mussels starter which was absolutely divine but could have done with being served with a nice chunk of bread to mop up the heavenly sauce it was served in instead of using a spoon to essentially drink it. Came here after a long bus trip with my girlfriend. We were very hungry and the place was close and had decent reviews. We were very dissapointed with what we got for the paid price. The glass of dry wine was very acidic, and for the price of a glass i could get a much better wine bottle from store. Pizza i ordered had thick dough and was kind of okay, but the mushroom soup tasted like instant soup from bag and tasted way overspiced. My girlfriend also had ceasar salad, i tried the mozzarella cheese they added, tasted and felt as if it was pieces of rubber. The prices were more less equal to a decent restaurant in the city center of corfu so we were very dissapointed by what we got. Also did not feel too well phisycally for a while after eating there. If I could give 0 stars, I would, but unfortunately I need to give 1. The worst restaurant in Sidari with totally slow service, not good quality food and higher prices. I ordered mixed fish plate and asked the waitress, if the fish is grilled or fried and she told me grilled. After, the fish arrived totally fried and the rest of the seafood in the mix was frozen. I asked for changing the fish with a grilled one and leave the rest of the seafood anyway, she told me she will change the fish and after she came with only one fish and totally new dish. I asked what happened with the rest of the seafood - she told me that she will bring it to me and after on the bill they charged me for the new plate + addition of 6 EUR for 1 prawn and 3 mussels!
