Mixed grilled fish. Suspect everything on the plate came frozen. The meal didn't have much of an appetising taste . The salmon was overcooked and dried out and I suspect the mussel was Australian green lipped. Service so so. On a par with most of the restaurant meals in Sidari. Very poor.

I have just read a reply from the owner regarding the above review. I appreciate the owners response and also appreciate that he is trying to make a living in perhaps a competitive market. However the owner is confusing me with someone else . Unlike the person you refer to in your response , I paid my bill in full and also included a tip which I believe was at least 10% of the bill. I did not even complain on the night and told you that the meal was fine. Why ? you might ask. When I go out for a meal I want to relax and enjoy a decent meal. I don't want to have to complain. Unlike some people I don't complain, just to get something knocked off the bill. I have not singled you out for criticism, in fact in Sidari, I found the standard of food in restaurants very poor in general, The Rock, and Bed Bar being of poorer quality than your restaurant. On a final note. You say in your response that I would not be prepared to spend €14 For fresh fish. You are incorrect. I would happily pay more than that for a decent...

We've visited here twice and it has been outstanding both times. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, but what really stands out above everything is the quality of the food the wife produces from their kitchen. Everything we ordered was delicious both times. All freshly prepared and home made. The lamb chops are some of the best Ive tasted and come in huge portions at only 11 euro a plate, served with hand cut home made chips. The mousaka, and the vegi mousaka are lovelly too, as were the giant beans and the cheese pies which are served crispy and hot from the fryer. Both the quality and favour of all dishes was outstanding, and the price is really good value for the area too. The bill for 2 adults and 2 children with a complimentary plate of fresh melon as desert came to under 40 euros. I wish there was a restaurant like this back...

The waiting time was huge. It took 30 minutes to take our order, and more than an hour to prepare it. After all that waiting, we were very hungry and had high hopes. I ordered Grilled Octopus which had a bad taste and texture, and Sword Fish, which had chewy meat, very hard to eat and swallow, and the taste was very faded. Those fish died in vain. Something weird about the Soft Drinks Coca Cola and Fanta Orange: both had weird tastes, like they were not properly stored or evern counterfeit. Given the high wait time, I was inclined to say it was just an exception, but when the food was also terrible, I’m not so sure this is an isolated incitent. There was some fighting and arguing between the serving employees, which also was not very professional. All in all, I do not recommend this place, even if myself I followed the other reviews that were...

Ate here in June during a weeks stay in the area Absolutely loved it. Great staff who were friendly, informative and helpful Didn’t eat a huge amount, in fact just a main course each, and a large carafe of house white. Wine was excellent too! My main was lamb chops - maybe 6 of them? Certainly a big portion, and beautifully cooked. I ate them cave man style with my hands, gorgeous they were. Chips and salad came too, both very nice Her indoors had bass. Decent sized fish and perfectly cooked. She had jacket potato and salad. She’s pretty picky about her fish but loved it. I took photos of both dishes so they should appear. Bill was €40, not bad at all We will defo return if we come back to the area.

Calamari was on point, exactly how I’d prefer eating it, lightly golden brown. Steak was very tender you can tell the owner was very picky about the type of meat he selects from his local butcher. Steak sauce was also on point. My wife had the kleftiko, best she’s ever had. And to top it off, to my surprise the dessert, Portokalopita, which is one of my favorite desserts was brought out. It was the best I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had my fair share of portokalopita. Highly suggest if you want high quality traditional local Greek cuisine. Thank you!
