Smugglers Inn — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Came here thinking it looked ok from the outside. Went in for a drink and everything became a nightmare. The owners was vile, they started following my children around inside the bar, so we thought ok this is not child friendly we finish our drink and leave. Next thing I know the man who runs this place came in the bar screaming at my toddler saying he had pulled a dirty drain pipe off his wall outside even though they hadn’t gone outside and they had someone Jett washing there floors at the time. At this point it escalated into a fall blown argument with the woman video recording my children saying she is going to tell every other pub owner to ban us and snatching my drink out of my hand which I paid for which was our 1st drink of the holiday. Luckily for us every other restaurant and bar we went to was very friendly and knew of these 2 people and their behaviour towards families. I expect there reply to be as vile as they are blaming everyone...

Went here for our 1st drink of the holiday. What a mistake. The couple who run the bar followed my children around the bar they couldn't breath. Couldn't wait to finish my drink because we felt uncomfortable. But before I could finish my drink the man from behind the bar came screaming at my kids including a toddler saying they had broken something they was nowhere near . Absolute bully's. The lady recording us and telling us they was going to send it to all the other restaurants and pub owners and snatched our drinks out our hands. Disgraceful. Luckily all the other owners know of there behavior and the way they are to children. Recording families with kids is disgusting. Obviously they will say something nasty in reply because it's what they are like. Don't know how they got such good reviews they must beg for...

nice atmosphere with very british decor, reasonable prices for what you get. mostly went there for the pool and sunbeds- which are free once you spend 10 euros per person. didn’t have any super welcoming experience with waiters but it was by no means bad, infact much more friendly than the average tourist trap. gyros were a good huge portion and tzatziki was amazing. the soup of the day (tomato) honestly tasted like it was from a tin but that might just be me, and it came with soggy croutons and white bread. again, you get what...
