Made in Athens Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Palaio Faliro

Had dinner at the Made In Athens and was pleased with the menu, selections, and atmosphere. The restaurant had a nice setting with plenty of indoor and some outdoor seating. The menu had a good breadth of regional Greek dishes and flavors while also having a few world wide standard menu items such as the Marriott burger. Server was pleasant and attentive and did a good job waiting on several tables as the restaurant filled. Bread came out soon with a platter of olives, butter, and a nice feta spread. Wine selection was good and we taste tasted two Greek red wine varieties and enjoyed them. Wife had gnocchi with a spinach ham cream sauce with a nicely done Parmesan crisp on top. I had the traditional skewered grilled chicken souvlaki with tzatziki sauce with roasted peppers and nicely roasted golden potato wedges. Very nice meal and a fair price. We had our very first breakfast in Greece here, and it could not have been a warmer welcome. At 6:30 in the morning, we were greeted by Fedra with a genuine smile and cheerful spirit — such a rare and precious gesture at that hour.
