La Vista — Restaurant in Municipality of Paxos

Do not attempt exposing yourself to the trauma of eating at this restaurant!

Paxos is a place full of kind people and fine food, but you will not find this welcome at La Vista. After trying to eat a hospitalisation-inducing seafood pasta, replete with cold mussels, flavourless, rubbery etc. seafood we were treated abysmally upon complaint of the barely touched meal.

Aggression, gaslighting and general apathy towards the customer experience made us uncomfortable enough to leave with our digestives untouched, and in search of an edible meal.

After fact checking the managers statement, ‘this has never happened before’ on reviews, my suspicions have been confirmed, and that perhaps there is a pattern of behaviour and quality of food.

I understand that mistakes happen but aggression is never acceptable.

Try literally any other restaurant in Gaios, everyone else...

The food here is good, we have eaten here before, BUT out of principle this place gets 1 star. My mother in law who is in her 70s, went there on her own for lunch and was loudly and falsely accused of being there the previous day and not paying. This was very upsetting and embarassing for her and although the woman manager eventually and very grudgingly apologised for her mistake, this was not sufficient to make up for being treated this way. Several customers who were eating there went up to my mother in law to say how shocked they were at how she was treated. There are lots of other places to eat in Gaios, we for one won't be going back to an establishment which bullies the...

This family-run restaurant is a gem that does not disappoint. The food is fresh and incredibly well prepared and presented. We love to order many dishes and share them. Every dish we ordered was delicious.

We also felt like family in how we were treated. Joni and his brother are warm and so much fun to chat with. We had great laughs sharing stories and they could not have been kinder. I knew Joni from a previous visit to Gaios 5 years ago and was delighted he remembered us and welcomed us back with open arms. This restaurant, and all who work there, could not have made our visit and dining experience any better. Looking forward to returning...
