O Mikros Prigkipas — Restaurant in Municipality of Piraeus

Wonderful food and service. We are visiting from Australia and joined our uncles group of friends who go out every Saturday night to a different restaurant. They love to try something new. From the start we were greeted with a smile and Chef Ioannis came out for a chat and gave his recommendations. Wonderful seafood with a twist. From the octopus fritters and spicy cheese fritters to fried talagani cheese. The panko calamari is a must. Black ink squid risotto and fried fish fillets. My favourite was the prawn linguine. We tried a couple of salads but I must say the feta mousse as a dressing for the Greek salad was the best. The presentation of all the food is superb! The flavour of the food and their own wine were all refreshing. We had a wonderful time and wish you all the best in your new venture....

We found this on a whim by our Airbnb in Piraeus and what a great place! We ordered greek salad, salmon ravioli, and calamari. THEN they gave us a special treat and brought out deep fried sardines (Maybe they were sardines, but it was a daily catch). They were different for us, but good! Then, just when I thought we couldn't eat anymore, he brought out a dessert made from his mom's home recipe. I don't even know what it was, but it was delicious and I ate the whole thing! We arrived early for dinner and were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome and comfortable immediately. We ordered a Greek salad, zucchini cakes, potatoes, octopus and grilled jumbo shrimp. Warm and fresh rolls were also brought to the table with hummus. We had a couple of glasses of white wine with our meal. The house white was enjoyable. There was nothing that we didn’t totally enjoy. Martin was our server and he was personable, professional, efficient and friendly at the same time. The food was the best we have eaten in Athens or Piraeus.
