Imerovigli — Restaurant in Municipality of Piraeus

I was extremely disappointed to leave this restaurant absolutely NOT customer-oriented. I paid 50€ only for a platter of seafood that contained mostly only FISH (without octopus, without mussels, without cuttlefish). Initially they told us that it contains everything (in real, seafood was a few small rings of squid and 8 shrimps), but they filled the platter with a lot of sardines and fried fish fillets ... Obviously NOT SEAFOOD. When I kept their attention at the end about the injustice they shrugged, saying that it does not contain what I expected. As a result, I ordered only the octopus, paid again by me.

A shame of Piraeus-specific restaurants. Greed for money and customer ignorance is the main feature. The price would have been justifiable, if they offered what they say and what a customer expects when they get their attention.

P.S.: Twisted bags of pasta stuffed with cheese with some fish and tomato balls were ok... But they aren’t...

Very disappointing meal.

We had to walk into the restaurant and all the way to the bar where the waiter was before he would acknowledge us for a table in an otherwise completely empty restaurant. He then took a while to take our order, and we had to get his attention again for this. The food came out at different times, though this could be excused for only cooking one item at a time as it was incredibly slow as well.

The quality of the food was lackluster. Tasteless with no seasoning and the fried haddock felt as though it had been frozen and shop bought, which was not what we were wanting or paying for by the sea.

We struggled again to catch the waiters attention to pay as he was talking to his friends outside of the restaurant.

We definitely wouldn't be returning and would not recommend this restaurant for food, service,...

Had to wait for 30 minutes to get a table, which was okay since we hoped that food there might be good.

Sadly, it was a big disappoinent: grilled octopus we ordered was a disaster - completely overcooked, tasted like a rubber and was cold when it arrived to the table.

On top of that, service seemed to be in a huge rush and we were charged for the food that we never ordered and never received - luckily we double checked the bill, had a waiter translate it back to us (since everything was only in Greek) and discovered it.

On a positive note: atmosphere itself was nice, but would never...
