Can't recommend this place... Food is OK but way overpriced and it seems they're trying to cut taxes by handing out fake bills. I don't get where all the good reviews come from...

Here's the story: We went there cause at 10pm on a Sunday it was one of the very few places that was still open. But also it looked like a nice traditional Greek restaurant that even had live music. The staff was nice, at least to a level that can be expected when they want you to eat there. We ordered a large beer, a coke zero, the appetizer plate for 2 (!) persons and the kebab plate. They put a bottle of water on the table that we hadn't ordered, so we thought it's complimentary as often the case. Not here though, they charge you for it. Don't get me wrong, it's totally fine paying for what you order, but not for what I didn't order. The waiter should have at least told us upfront. First we got some bread (really nothing special and not very fresh either) and a small (!) plate with 4 different types of dips (see photo). We thought that would be the dips for the kebab plate or so, cause the kebab came soon after. We finished thinking the appetizer plate would come next, wondering though why the appetizers would be served after the main course. When nothing came for another 15min, we thought they might have forgotten it and decided to get the bill. It added up to 25,50€! The waiter told us the small plate with the dips was the appetizer plate. We were expecting a selection of appetizers from the menu (cheese, olives, meat, dips...) not just some tzatziki. Wouldn't have been a problem though, if they wouldn't charge 8€ for this. Very disappointing...

When I checked the bill (which is pretty hard cause everything is in Greek and impossible to read) I realized there were actually two bills - a handwritten one showing 25,50€ and a printed one showing 21€. (Side note: the printed bill was folded and stapled to the handwritten bill so that the total amount was hidden.) I had to ask twice to get another two bills that finally added up to the 25,50€ they wanted to charge us. I had heard of such practices to cut taxes before and for me that's an absolute no-go, considering the problems of the Greek government over the last decade.

So again, not just have we been very disappointed with the value we got for our money. More importantly, it seems this place is trying to cut taxes which shouldn't be supported and...

I went there to have a late dinner after a long trip, and I set myself a table waited a bit to order. No one even bothered to look at me. I'm traveling alone, Asian woman. I called it out to one of the waiter and asked him, "Can I order?" He glanced at me and said, very bluntly "Yes, but you have to wait 25 minutes ,if you okay yes," and he ust walked off to serve other table.

He didn't ask me again whether you want to order or not. It looked pretty busy, but I can only say what I've experienced, though. If I was with buch of people, would he refuse to serve me like that? People in there look very happy and enjoying...

Terrible service. Meat was cold, fish was tasteless. They forgot to bring us drinks. We’ve been waiting for a check more than 30 minutes. Angry and late we’ve decided to put €20 on the table and leave (the check as it turned out was €35). Magically, they reminded themselves about us and chased us, shouting and being very rude. Of course we’ve paid full price, but they didn’t even bother say sorry. But they said it was too many people, making fools of us, because we saw half of the...

Not sure how to rate this place.. the guy who waves us in was a great English salesman, so we had the mixed salad he suggested, grilled Dorado, calamari and souvlaki plate. All delicious. However as the receipt is in greek, it looked like we were charged for more things than were on the table or he singularly charged for each little plate. It was a good experience, just make sure you know what they are charging you for! He said the credit card machine was broken, so we had to pay in euros.

We discovered this lovely restaurant near the Port of Piraeus by chance a year ago. Whenever we crave fish, we go there and have sea bream. They grill fish very well. Both the fish and the salad ingredients are always fresh. The owners and staff are polite and attentive. Prices are also quite reasonable. During the summer months, musicians come for live music in the evening. In the winter, there is live music and entertainment indoors.
