ManoEra Beach Snack Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Platanias

This place has a very nice view over the beach, and appealed to me as cozy in some strange minimalistic way.

We had lunch here as it happened to be close by, and also had some drinks.

Throughout our stay, the staff was attentive and nice, providing us with good service.

Given the high ratings I was a little surprised about the low quality food served. The drinks however felt fairly good, and the same goes for the milkshake.

It feels like people have rated this place for its drinks, not the food.

When we were done with the meal we received a complimentary plate of watermelon on the house, which is a nice touch. Then when asking for the bill, we got ANOTHER plate of watermelon, I don't know if we still looked like we needed more, or if there was a glitch in the communication between the staff 😂

An excellent small restaurant with really good food, delicious drinks and the best service with an affordable price tag, run by a lovely family. We first came here 3 years ago by chance and kept coming back. This time we had club sandwiches, chicken nuggets and the gyros plate. Good sized portions and so so tasty that we polished them off in record time. We had the house drink Mano Era, perfect on a hot day. The sunbeds are only 2,50 e, but the wind was so rowdy that we'll need to come back to swim another day....

I don't understand how such subpar food takes so long to make. Disappointing. Only positive thing I can say is the atmosphere and location was nice. Also the prices were quite low, so I guess you get what you pay for. 🙂 Also btw they told us we were getting a fruit salad and made us wait like 10 minutes for 5 banana slices, btw there were 4 of us, so yeah I...
