Red Dragon — Restaurant in Municipality of Platanias

We wanted to eat some rice after eating Greek food everyday, so we decided to eat Chinese food.

I ordered the general Tao chicken and my girlfriend ordered the kung pao chicken. Both dishes tasted pretty good and had a nice spice level. The chicken was really tender (which is usually an issue). The sauces were a bit runny for my liking and the flavor could have been stronger. I tasted that they add stock to the sauces but they added a little too much stock in my opinion. They also added a nice amount of veggies, however I would’ve left out the carrots. They were cut too thick and have an overpowering taste.

Overal I’d go back to this place because it’s a nice switch up of all the Greek food and the food tasted pretty good. I’ve had better Chinese food but this is the best Chinese food you’ll get in platanias.

I had the Peking Duck since it's among my favorite foods. The duck itself was OK, but the amount of greens, hoisin sauce and pancakes didn't match the duck. I only got 5 pancakes which didn't get me halfway through the duck. And when I asked for more pancakes, because only 5 pancakes would surely be a mistake(!), I got only 5 more. And on top of that I was billed 3 EUR extra for those extra 5 pancakes. I talked to a friend which had eaten the same dish the day before, and she too had gotten an insufficient amount of pancakes. The greens should also have been more finely cut. My hoisin sauce also came without a spoon, so I had to use my fork to scrape it out. I've been with my family in crete for a week now, and during that time we visited this place 3 times i think, we would've more if it weren't for us that wanted to explore different options. The food is amazing and top tier, in my opinion. The service and hospitality is nice and friendly even talkative if you put the effort in to talking to them.
