Food was bland and had no taste.

We had the moussaka and beef stefado. The moussaka was probably the worst tasting moussaka I have ever had. It had no taste and just lacked any flavour and it wasn't near hot enough. The beef in the stefado was overcooked and dry. We had to wait at least 20 minutes for the table to be cleared of our plates even when they kept looking at the finished plates every time they walked past.

Their service soon changed when the waiter asked how the dinner was, and I told him about the dishes.

All on all I would not visit this restaurant again.

In response to the restaurants reply, at no point did the waiters come over to ask if the food was okay, and therefore, this must've been the wrong table that you speak of.

I did not eat even half of the moussaka as it was that bad. Service was poor and the food matched this too. Much better restaurants...

My wife and I picked out this restaurant based on reviews here on Google. We are very glad we did! The setting is right next to the beach so the views are as you'd expect, beautiful!

The food was mixed though, my own avacado salad was good, although being an avacado salad the amount of its main ingredient was a bit lacking, and really could have done with more given the fact it should be the star of the dish. My wife had spaghetti bolognase and this let the restaurant down slightly as, although it was very tasty, presentation was a bit of a let down and it didn't look very appealing.

It was still a solid 4 stars for us, the location was gorgeous and service was quick with polite staff, so I would definitely recommend the restaurant, just not the spaghetti...

Hands down the best restaurant in Platanias. We have now been here for 12 days and this is the best place to eat. Especially if you like seafood or traditional greek couisine. The service is impeccable and the staff is so friendly. Two long time friends who work so well together and one of their's mother who cook. We had the seafood plate to share and could not even finish it, eventhough it was really good. 100% recommend and all the best wishes to this restaurant. PS: (2 in our family can't eat gluten at all and this was no problem. They could guarantee that several dishes was without gluten) (They even recommend Tamam, restaurant in chania, if you want another place who makes really great...
