Such a shame. One young lad serving. No customer service. Kleftiko cold, had to request it was warmed up. No apology. Meat was fatty mutton. White wine was not cold and enough. Was never asked if we were enjoying our meal or wanted something else. Crecean salad had only three thin small pieces of green pepper, lots of tomatoes and cucumber which were nice but quite warm. Chips great. In a great position so such a shame. Owners need to know how disappointing it was.
Response to owners......
My review was fair and accurate. We were not the only customers and the young lad who was pleasant did not ask if everything was ok. I could have been more critical but hoped my review may encourage you to review you food and service. It was a shame we stopped at the Church and chose your restaurant for a drink and meal. Since arriving in Crete we've eaten at various restaurants and all have been excellent. I will be reviewing these too with the same honesty. Sometimes it's hard to take a little criticism but it is meant as constructive criticism and I wish you and your restaurant well for the future. Regards
Reply.... I was not there when you brought yoghurt and honey and Raki..... I was in your 'not so clean toilet'!! Yoghurt was the best part of the meal. I did not realise it, or the Raki, was complimentary or an apology for cold food. I don't like Raki so didn't drink any but thank you for the yoghurt. My review is honest and there are no lies contained in it. Such a shame you will not learn. I see I am not the only one who has reviewed you honestly. I would worry about it. You are in a prime tourist spot so I'm sure your business will continue offering below standard food and service. I will not engage any further. You obviously believe in fairy tales.
Final response having just read your latest comment. I don't have a problem. We've been on the island for nearly two weeks and ate out every day at a variety of restaurants I can let you into a 'not so well kept secret'..... All, yes all restaurants give Raki and cake or yoghurt at the end of a meal. You said this was an apology for the poor meal in your previous comments so assume you don't follow other places and offer this which in itself is rather strange!!!!
No, not at all. Your stupid comments keep popping up like a really bad case of sickness! It's amazing that you focus on your reviews but do nothing to rectify them. 🤣 🤣 🤣 You obviously have a very quiet restaurant to be able to respond so promptly!!👎👎👎😂😂😂 Now...... Go sort your place out or maybe as the season is coming to a close, you...
Read moreThe only place in whole Crete that left us disappointed. First of all the woman who worked as a waiter there was far away from the greece friendlyness, grumpy from the very beginning... we ve not met one that grumpy and dominant person in a restaurant in greece before. The food was ok, part of it even really good, but they were unable to serve us a big cup of warm tea (we only have one size... coffe cups). But teabags are way too strong for coffee bags. And they were not willing to offer it in a glass... or they lacked the phantasy to do so. In result we did not say everything was ok when asked.. but the boss wanted to hear everything was ok. We said...everything was good except we would have loved something warm to drink... the boss then said... believe me you are the very first person EVER that asks for a tea. We are not a cafeteria.. as we wanted to pay and leave to have a tea domewhere else, he hot very unfriendly and angry and became so loud, that other guests instantly left before ordering. Then he was so angry that he charged us 10 less... he said "i charge you 10 less but ho now, go"... the whole situation was like in a theather and we left...
