Kerasma Cook n' Deli — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

One for the foodies – what an absolute gem of a find! This was, without a doubt, the best meal we’ve had on any of our Pefkos holidays. We popped in for lunch and asked for a Meze of recommended dishes. The hummus was the standout – the best I’ve ever tasted. Even my husband, who usually finds hummus quite bland, was genuinely impressed by how flavourful it was.

Portion sizes were generous, and it was such a treat to try a variety of dishes we might not have picked ourselves. The menu includes a lovely mix of traditional favourites and more unique options – a refreshing change from the usual 'copy and paste' menus you often see in the area.

The deli is also worth mentioning. There’s a lovely selection of local produce available to buy, and the owner was clearly passionate and knowledgeable, taking time to talk me through the different honeys and oils and offering tastings before I bought anything. While the deli products are a little more premium in price (as you’d expect), they’re perfect for anyone who enjoys quality ingredients.

One word - outstanding! From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home! Beautiful, warm decor with natural, organic display of various, local sourced products from Greek, organic olive oil to artisan wines, makes it an ideal place for a relaxed meal. I knew straight away the food will be amazing and I wasn't wrong. The best food I had in Pefkos, Lindos and Rhodes. Everything is cooked to perfection. Each dish is soulful, proper tradition Greek food that presented in beautiful and moden way but without loosing it authenticity. I highly recommend to visit Kerasma, where you will be greeted by most kind and caring owner Yannis who will take his time to show you around and explain about each dish, and recommend it accordingly to your taste. Kerasma is the place where you will have a beautiful time , surrounded by wonderful hosts, experience the best food and wine! Without a doubt the best meals I have eaten in Rhodes. We came for lunch, which was lovely and was invited back for olive oil tasting session the following day held by the son of the owners, so second meal in Kerasma. We followed his recommendations on what to have, so trying something different than you would have thought or seen on the main menu. The tastes and flavours were amazing and worked so well together. Each item individually had its on delicious taste but together they were something completely different and such amazing taste. This then lead us to come back again for an evening meal. The pork belly in lemon and rosemary sauce was outstanding, and a dish that I will take home from my holiday and attempt to recreate. On site they make their own sweets and sell local products like herbs and spices, oils, honey, sweets and wine. Such a lovely, family run establishment.
