As for the food – everything was superb! We kicked things off with their homemade tzatziki and fresh bread, both of which were bursting with flavor. For the main course, the grilled sea bass was absolutely divine – tender, perfectly seasoned, and served with a delightful side of seasonal vegetables. My partner had the most delicious shrimp pasta on the island!!!!!

The ambiance of the restaurant is also something worth mentioning. MEZEN has a beautiful, modern setting with a relaxing outdoor terrace, perfect for enjoying a meal while soaking in the charm of Pefki. A hidden gem. We were disappointed with the offering of fish in the other restaurants and then we found Mezen!! The waitress was lovely from start to finish, talked us through the fish we were less aware of to help us make a decision on what we would like. Starters and main were all amazing. They kindly bought us a plate of figs from the yard when we were finished. Not sure what happened last night as expected so much more after reading the reviews on here & on FOP! Starters took over 45mins to arrive. The cheeseballs that were ordered were not cooked through and cold in the middle. The mains then followed 30/50 mins after the starters had arrived, I had lost count of how long it had been but had been ages! The fish was nice but the chicken was overdone and dry. We were given a 20% discount due to the length of service but at that point the evening had already been spoilt....
