I can’t say enough good things about Maria’s Restaurant in Rhodes! Everything was absolutely perfect. This charming, family-run business offers not just incredible food but also an amazing personal touch. We had the pleasure of staying at their guest house next door which can be booked on booking, and I have to say, it’s the best place to stay in all of Rhodes. Both the restaurant and the room are seafront, offering stunning views and the most amazing beach right at your doorstep.

Maria herself is like a mother to all her guests. She cooked us special dishes tailored to our dietary needs, and each meal was authentically Greek and utterly delicious. Her cooking is pure perfection. The warmth and hospitality of Maria and her family made our stay unforgettable.

The best traditional Greek restaurant right on the beach!!! Here everything you order is excellent: they cook everything with their own olive oil, daily fresh grilled fish, succulent calamari fried to perfection, juicy grilled meats, especially flavorful local pork chops, refreshing salads with local products such as olives and capers, masterpieces of the Greek Cuisine such as Moussaka (eggplant casserole), Pasticcio (noodle casserole with minced meat), Giouvetsi (slow braised meat in the oven with fragrant kritharaki pasta) and also international dishes (seafood pasta, Schnitzel, etc.) Super friendly and fast service. The restaurant is very close to the harbor. So you have a good view of the entrance and all the boats. The staff are very nice and also fast. On the food you do not have to wait very long 15-20 min. But that is also dependent on how many guests are just there. Had a shimps cocktail and lamb souvlaki. The shrimp cocktail was unfortunately very small (4 shrimp) a majomush and half of the small glass was filled with cucumbers. Taste was ok, but not the hit. 9.30€ for it is not justified! With the lamb souvlaki it was quite similar. 5 pieces of lamb, the rest fries and rice. The tzaziki alone costs over 5.50€. The lamb was unfortunately also very though! Price 14€... Sorry but there are qualitatively better and cheaper restaurants. Too bad, otherwise had a good impression. Maybe I had also made the wrong choice. Anyway, I will not visit this...
