Masa Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Everything was perfect. The food was very tasty and the staff were friendly. We had kleftiko and tsipoura (sea bream), aubergine salad and tzatziki and drank ouzo. I highly recommend it.

Update after three days: It was our favourite restaurant and we went every night. We tried all the Greek dishes and almost all the meze on the menu and they were all wonderful. We ate until there was no more room in our stomachs and never felt anything wrong after eating. The food was like very good home cooking. It always made us feel happy.

The hospitality was also 10/10. Although they are working too hard during the peak hours, the waitresses are always friendly and with a smiling face. They made nice gestures like free baklava every day.

Ok. It really is a good place to go. Let's start with the server. Good English and very pleasant. Service was quick and there is a real family atmosphere. The place looks a little cheap but don't be too quick to judge. Prices are very good for the area but you are not in tourist area. In my opinion it is well worth it to walk or travel too. The menu is multi lingual so don't feel out off. There is a local peacock so grab a nice picture. Ok. Food is why I dropped a few stars. The lamb kleftiko came in a cream sauce however this is not what we thought. Maybe this is a local change but the sauce was bland. There is a strong cinnamon flavor which (for my pallet) was top much. Maybe the choice of dishes so don't be too put off. There is a great vibe and a local family cooking so I will def return. This restaurant is the hidden culinary gem of faliraki and maybe of all of Rhodes and therefore worth taking a detour off the mainroad. They serve authentic tasty Greek food in a local and authentic setting. We went 4 times in our week long holiday and were always welcomed in the warmest way by the nice staff who always offered the best service and served the best food at the best prices all over Faliraki. 1 Liter of their tasty white wine only costs 7.50eur for instance.
