We bought our vacation in February. We chose this hotel partly because the sea is about 200 meters away. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed that they didn't have a room for us and wanted to move us to a hotel 1.5 km from the sea, without all-inclusive, and with one less star. We spent 3 hours sitting at the reception, where we were first told that there was no electricity in our rooms. After 3 hours of waiting, the general manager came and said that there were no rooms available for us because they were overbooked. In short, they sell one room 2-3 times and then move people around to different hotels. Every second group we met during our vacation had this problem. In the end, we had to take accommodation in Evita Alegria for 3 nights (3* hotel 1.5 km from the beach) because the general manager basically said that if we didn't take it, we would be left on the street. We returned to Evita Elite after three days.||||Regarding the food, I have never eaten worse food in my life. Undercooked meat, practically raw. All week there was no other side dish than fries; you don't even know what you are taking because it looks odd, and there are no labels. I saw with my own eyes how the chef, instead of refilling the dressing because it was gone, filled it with water from the machine, poured it into the dressing, and diluted it, so it was just colored water. If you don’t arrive among the first for dinner, you have less food to choose from because many things are not replenished.||||The terrace by the bar is inadequate for the number of guests. If you don't arrive early, you have nowhere to sit. Since Evita Elite has a children's animation program, guests from Evita Mare also come, and you have no choice but to stand by the bar (if there is even space), because if you want to take a chair from the dining room, they don't allow it.||||When we left the hotel, we paid the stay tax for all 12 days as if we were staying in a 4* hotel. Unfortunately, we only realized afterward that we had been accommodated in a 3* hotel for 3 days, so we should have paid less.||||I recommend avoiding accommodation in any of the Evita hotels (Elite,...

Read moreThis is not at all a 4 star hotel. Don’t spent you money here if you want to rest on a holiday.||1. When we arrived at the hotel they sent us to another hotel for the first night. We were not the first ones they did this. It seemed as a routine as we also met other people at the hotel who said the same story. The hotel they sent us was 15 minutes walk further from the beach and classified as a 3 star hotel. With this being said we lost 24 hours of our trip to Rhodes because of hotel management. No compensation was offered and when we asked they said why we didn’t ask earlier.|2. My wife forgot her Shirt at the hotel we were sent the first night. When we asked to have it back they said we have to go and pick it up ourself. This is horrible service.|3. They will not clean your room, bring clean bed lines or towels. I asked for them to be changed twice during our stay for almost one week. First time the reception said they will pass the message to the cleaning team. They had not passed it as I went and asked them personally to clean our room and bring clean towels. Second time we left the hotel at 9 to go to the beach, and came back at 3:30. They told us they would clean the room but didn’t. We had to wait 45 more min for the reception to pass the message to the cleaning people and get in our room and clean it. The managers excuse was that they clean rooms until 8pm and it was not our turn yet and they only clean a room once in three days.|4. Tiny bathrooms. The bathroom was about 1.6 meters with 1.6 meters. Sink was very small, just for two hands. No door for the shower cabin. The bathroom would get flooded in one shower.|5. Bugs and ants everywhere especially in the bathroom. We had to kill some everyday.|6. A 4 star hotel with mold in walls. Check the pictures below. |7. Food was poor. We spent more money eating outside.||I come from another country who is a top destination in Europe and this hotel would never qualify as a 4 star hotel. Max it would qualify as a Motel or Inn that has a pool outside and offers food. All I am saying is based on my experience with...
