Everything about this beach bar is simply perfect for me. The atmosphere is relaxing, the music is at just the right level — not too loud, so you can still have a proper conversation without raising your voice.
The food is excellent, and the portions are huge. For example, the Club Sandwiches — especially the deluxe version — is served with patatas, which are insanely tasty fried potatoes, topped with aioli sauce and grated Gouda cheese. Honestly, it’s impossible for one person to finish the whole thing — two people can easily share it and leave full. The same goes for other dishes, like the salads, focaccia (which is a quesadilla) which are also served in generous portions.
As for the sunbeds, the price actually reflects the minimum consumption required, depending on where you want to sit. For example:
At the back: minimum consumption of €20 for a set of two sunbeds with umbrella;
In the middle area: €30 for a set;
First row: I’m not sure, but I’d guess around €40 per set.
Personally, I preferred to stay somewhere in the middle because the front area tends to get crowded with kids and people laying towels on the sand. I don’t mind walking an extra 5 meters to get into the water — better to have space and comfort.
The service is fast, the staff is extremely friendly, and honestly, everything was outstanding for me. This is actually the second year I’ve returned to this place — I came back mostly for the patatas, because they are absolutely...
Read moreThis beach bar is amazing! The staff is very friendly, and there are plenty of people working — a manager, waiters, bussers, someone cleaning the sunbeds, and even someone collecting the trash. Everything is very well organized.
The food is excellent! I highly recommend the club sandwich, regular fries, oven-baked potatoes with sauce, and the Caesar salad — all were delicious. The coffees and cocktails are also great — especially the frappe and the Candy Crush cocktail.
The sunbeds are comfortable with cushions, and there’s a DJ playing music throughout the whole day. I think it’s the only beach bar in the area that actually provides entertainment like this.
The prices are reasonable — there’s just a minimum consumption per set, ranging from €20 to €50 depending on the row you choose. We went there three days in a row, and the staff remembered us and gave us sunbeds even without a reservation.
I would recommend this place to everyone, and I’d definitely come...
Read moreA place to Avoid. The most unpleasant experience we had in three weeks around Halkidiki. The cramped space they try to put you in, even if you arrive early, is so they can reserve the front spots for late guests. The service was inconsiderate and the staff were rude. We paid the same price for a constricted view at the back as those upfront, even though we only managed to resist for 3 hours. We were not allowed to leave without paying an additional €3.50 to make up the €40! Within an hour, there was a cacophony of music places competed to play theirs the loudest. The rudest guests chain-smoked without consideration for others. It's the crappiest, most overrated place we've ever stayed at. The beach is small and the water wasn't great. Drive through the area for scenic views and find better beaches, like those in Nikiti, for...
