We were here on dinner a few days ago...We were served fast except for the dish that I ordered and I was waiting for half an hour (macaroni with minced meat and besamel sauce, don't know the name) and ordered several dishes... First of all, grilled shrimps for my wife, very bad... We were in doubt were they really grilled 🫣 cause those arrived literally after 2 minutes :) Kid's menu, 6 pieces of chicken meat and half of potato for 12e? ( Too big price for nothing, my Greek brothers) I know that crysis is everywhere and that you want to make quick big money, but don't do this 🤣 The dish that I've ordered was ok (a little much more oil inside, but ok, strong and not reccomendable for lunch, more for dinner)... Grilled feta piece, I am in doubt is there more tham 100g of feta, and a spoon of honey for 7e... funny 😆 For drink, 2 wines, those were ok, nothing special, served by a guys that don't look like waiters, without any uniform, like they arrived from plantation... 3 t-shrts for 3 guys with a company logo are 30e (maybe less), if you are charging dishes with these prices, invest a little to be more profesional... And on the end, toilet was messy, dusty, really something that I don't want to visit again, and I am not some "elite" tourist, just ordinary guy. 52e bill, not satisfied and I am in doubt should I reccomend. (I haven't reccomended to our neighbours in app that evening when we arrived). Greeks are really, after a lot of years, ready to run off tourists with...
Read moreMy friends (a group of 3 Italian families, 10 people in all) had chosen this restaurant and I was initially deceived because I did not see the gyros on the vertical rotisserie and it was cooked on the grill. But finally we stayed and ordered. The waiter was very kind and proposed a fresh Dourado fish that was very good, a moussaka (initially arrived cold in the inside but very kindly replaced with a very good and hot one that was also offered to excuse for the mistake), the pork and chicken gyros, the pork knuckle, Greek salad were all very good and portions were very large. The beer selection was very large making everyone happy at the table. The kids were happy with a pool table and darts. And finally, cherry on the cake, when asked for a digestive liquor (amaro) and only having ouzo, the owner went out to buy a bottle of Aperol to make us happy. As Italians, drink aperol only as an aperitif but we immensely appreciated the gesture of hospitality, care and kindness. And to end, the bill was really honest. We did not try other food than what mentioned but we...
Read moreWe went there after reading all the good reviews. The people working there were nice and polite so that was fine, but we were really dissappinted by the food.First ,their internet is not stable and the only way to see the menu is to scan it.Further more,I do not know if it wasnt their best day or maybe other people have not tried traditional greek food before, but the suvlaki we ate was terrible. The meat was chewy not juicy and fresh at all (the fries were good that were served together)and it was so hard stuck that i would think it was frozen and defrosted later. The Cretan salad was tasty indeed but the baked bread served inside was not Cretan rusk but some tiny round pieces and it had so little cheese that was almost difficult to find it and Cretan salad is known for having plenty of cheese.Overall, from our experience, nothing special, judging that it has same score with Stavros tavern for example, where we ate the night before and the food...
