Giannelis — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

We chose this restaurant because we saw good reviews on Google Maps, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the expectations. We ordered octopus, which was tough and rubbery, almost like chewing on a tire. The other dishes we tried were of average quality, I wouldn’t say they were particularly tasty. At first, we were served by a middle-aged man who was extremely unfriendly and spoke to us with a frown the entire time, for no obvious reason. This is the best tavern in Ormos Panagias. It’s is a family-run restaurant and the owner is amazing host along with the restaurant crew! The food is so delicious! All fish is fresh! We had a greek salad, fried zucchini, grilled octopus and fresh red mullet. Everything was very well cooked and delicious. As a compliment we had a greek yogurt with sweet grapes jam for dessert, this dessert was unbelievable! Last but not least the view over the bay...
