If you are any kind of civilised person then you likely wouldn’t go to Kavos (it’s a shame because Greece and Greek people on the whole are lovely) the tourists truly ruin Kavos (especially the British from what I can tell) but this is a diamond in the rough. Maybe they can eventually deter the reprobate tourists and continue to improve. (I never saw any undesirables in this establishment) The locals use this place so that is a good hint. Friendly and a nice large selection of sweet food. Went here a couple of times for desserts after eating elsewhere. Yes they pass the card processing fee of 50 cents on to the customer but that’s nothing in the grand scheme of things. Withdraw money from an ATM for €1.80 or have the cash if that’s a problem. It provided a delightful spot for brunch and coffee. The quality of the coffee was exceptional, the food was well-balanced and had a homemade touch, while the ice cream was enjoyable. I'd easily give it a 5-star rating.
