The Steak House — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

Burger with bacon, cheese and mushrooms, ordered with salad. Sounds simple right? No oil served with the salad. Bun not toasted, not warm. Bacon was not bacon, it was fried cheap reconstituted ham (york ham) . The cheddar was the square american style cheese-like slices. The mushrooms were a few thin slivers, less than one small mushroom. The meat patty was just about acceptable, a little grey, a little dry and a little emulsified, kind of like hot dog in texture. €43 for two burgers and three drinks, then the owner decided to help himself to my €7 change, from the receipt / bill holder. I wouldn't recconmend eating here if you are from UK as a manager of a restraunt myself I went here for a holiday and was highly recommended to eat here and to be fair the steak was a 10/10 cant fault it but the wait time of over 2 hours was ridiculous we even waited 20 minutes for drinks and had to call a waiter over ourselves for that

The manager was abrupt & not very understanding to the wait time he fought its was ok because they were a little bit busy

He give 15% discount which was like a slap across the face should have been 50% minimum

A friend and I came here over three years ago.

While other restaurants in Kavos can be subpar, and we had some bad experiences, finding The Steak House was the food highlight of our trip.

Family run, great food, amazing atmosphere.

Had a medium rare fillet with peppercorn sauce. Steak was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was very wholesome, and a welcomed break from the madness of Kavos. The staff greeted us, sat us down and looked after us well. Don’t have a bad word to say about this place.
