Beautifully cooked Chinese and Thai food and excellent service. Three tips - 1) If you like things spicy, ask for extra spice when you place your order - they are very happy to accommodate (but understandably, as they have to cater for the widest possible audience, by default even the dishes marked with chillis on the menu come at a very low spice level). 2) The portion sizes are smaller than some other Chinese restaurants we've been to - so if there's a large group of you sharing and you'd all like to have a taste of a specific dish, it's worth bearing in mind that you might have to order multiples of the same one. 3) If you want to save money, skip the drinks here. The food is absolutely worth the price. Their charges for generic beers which you can buy anywhere else at approximately half the cost, aren't so justifiable and will push up the total price of an otherwise good value meal.

Read moreWe decided to have a nice dinner out but it was ruined by our experience in this restaurant. Firstly the waiter sat us down at a dirty table. He then proceeded to wipe the crumbs off the table and onto the floor. We were horrifed when we saw the prices. 4,2€ for a glass of orange juice??? Unacceptable. We each got a drink and a main dish with a side and it came out to around 45€ for 2 people. The portions were very modest and the food was mediocre at best. Rice is not complimentary to the main dish. After the meal I got the urge to empty my bowels and upon entry to the toilet i was shocked. There was NO toilet paper and I was forced to hold it in until I got back to my hotel. Do not waste your time and money here. We don't want to be rude but we certainly didn't have a pleasant...
Read moreThe food was very good, everything from the starter to the dessert was really tasty. But the portions are too small. Take a look at the pictures. You pay ca. 12€ per portion chicken or beef. And the rice is not included! You have to order it separately for 3.95€. This is way too much, in comparison to chinese restaurants in Germany. I mean, if it would have been a big portion, I could tolerate it, but the portion is too small if you are hungry. The service is slow, they need more staff. And after 7 o'clock the restaurant is really full. If you would like to have a nice and calm evening with your partner, then choose another restaurant outside of Kavos. But this is not the fault of the restaurant of course. I can recommend the food, but the size of the portions is my...
