Pavlos Steakout Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

Engaged owner, quality food. We had the Chef stewed lamb (spicy) and stewed beef (was spicier than the lamb). Both tender and excellently spiced. We did however have better. I had the grilled meat teller (16€) and instead of pork, the owner put mir beef and chicken on the plate. The lamb chops were very good, but the rest was grilled to dryness. The owner even asked how I would like my beef, I said medium to medium well. He understood „well“. Ok, after a few bites, the owner offered a new plate and I said I just wanted the beef an chicken lightly grilled and nothing else. A full plate came and the chicken was perfect. The beef, again well done!! ;-( The beef was of a lesser quality and thickness than the first plate, but nonetheless, ok, fresh meat. I really couldn’t believe that it would happen twice, and the owner said the cook was new. Hm. I told him he should check the quality of the cook if you don’t want to waste the quality of your meat and eventual patronage. Pavlos Taverna in Kavos is hands down the best restaurant we visited during our trip. The food is absolutely delicious – fresh, full of flavor, and always served with a smile. Whether it is steak, or traditional Greek dishes, everything was cooked to perfection. What truly sets this place apart is the hospitality. The staff treat you like family, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. They even surprised us with complimentary desserts and always took the time to check in on how we were enjoying everything.🍨🍰 The portions are generous, the prices are more than fair, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. Oh my, where to start.

My group arrived with no reservation and despite the fact that we were 13, they made room for us to sit and wait until they could join some more tables and have us all sit at a big table.

Ordered drinks while we waited, which arrived fast. Placed the food orders and after a couple of minutes, the starters arrived hot and steamy. Absolutely delicious.

Because of the large order, the starters were on the house ❤, as for the main dishes, the amount of food was more than pleanty. The staff was friendly and entertaining. The food was fresh, the fish was well made and the portions big.

The lemon pie desert was on the owner and some limoncello shots at the end from the staff.
