Where to start!! As a certified fussy eater this pizzeria is my FAVOURITE pizza place (I live in London and have been to excellent Italian restaurants). Every year we come to Corfu we make sure to go to Giacomos — we went 3x in the past week. We have tried the margherita, pesto pizza, pomodoro pasta and the vegetarian— the margherita is by far the best! In terms of the food, everything is freshly made and this is evident as dishes come out hot and taste homemade— we learnt that the owner, Jamie, gets his ingredients straight from Italy. The service is equally as impressive— everyone is so friendly, warm and welcome; it is just a genuinely lovely restaurant to visit where the food, vibe and hospitality will not disappoint. Pizza: made with pickled peppers and tasted very boring. Nothing special at all.
Noodles: we tried to order „Al arrabiata“. Unfortunately after explaining it a couple of times the servant stated: only what’s on the card.
Greek salad: disaster: 5 slices of cucumber, only tomato, almost no onions. Okay, it is a Italian place - but when you have it on the card, just get it right I guess?
