Jimmy's Family Run Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

We went out to Jimmy's Taverna a couple of times during our vacation, we ate, drank, laughed and left with watery eyes during our last day in Moraitika. This restaurant is peak example of Greek hospitality which makes us always come back to Greece for our vacations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The staff here is truly exceptional - they made us feel like valued guests every time we went there. Coffee, cocktails, lunch (they have very tasty and affordable daily menu options), ouzo, meze... everything was top-notch. We spoke with employees about traditional drinks and dishes and welcomed their suggestions on what to try and we never made a mistake. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ate garlic bread as an appetizer which had a lot of cheese on the bread (this did not stand on the menu) and the curry chicken was so dry I couldn't even cut it, the rice - as written on the menu - turned out to be fries (which I did not want and the waitress also didn't tell me that they don't have rice anymore) and on top of that the curry sauce was extremely thick and just tasted weird. The second time my family ate Bifteki which was frozen and dry, UNEATABLE. The staff was extremely unfriendly. I would never ever recommend this place. For your own sake, stay away from that restaurant and spent your money on fresh...

Me and my partner went there because all the restaurant were closed. We had a bad feeling from the start . The way we were approached it was so unwelcoming. The menus were sticky. The cocktails horrible. I could taste the ice and bits of pineapple in it. We asked for a vegetarian starter and we received completely something else with ham in it. We asked for another dish and the waiter tried to convince us to keep it and he takes out the ham.
