Location is amazing, its right on the sea and has stunning views. I went on a Monday afternoon, it was quiet therefore I was seated quickly but had to wait quiet a bit for my food. Staff are courteous and welcoming most of them speak English . The food was ok, I bought the fisherman’s spaghetti , tasty but some of the mussels were dead prior to cooking so still closed after cooking ( not edible) and there was just one medium sized shrimp which which seem to me like an afterthought. For €24 I found it annoying. Good portion size , the meal would have been perfect had I not been sold dead clams . The restaurant is a good size but got very crowded very quickly with families. If you’re after a tasty bowl of spaghetti, and you’re not concerned about social distancing or a few rambunctious children then this place will be perfect for you. I am All for tilling waiting staff , but I found that the waiter was passively insistent on a tip which I found rather irritating. Will I go back here, probably not but I will go for a take out . I gave this 4 stars purely for their tasty food...
Read moreMy and my partner tried to dine here, in the early evening. We were casually dressed as we had been at the beach before (we were NOT just in bathing suites - we were fully dressed, just casually).
We asked the staff for a table for 2, only to be told they were fully booked (albeit at most 2 tables were occupied at the time and no 'reserved' signs were apparent on any of the plenty of empty tables) and that they could only offer us what was objectively the worst table of the restaurant (buried into a corner on the street side). We thanked them and had our dinner on the next restaurant.
On our way back (1.5h+ after this), all the tables were STILL empty.
It would have been better to be told they didn't want our business. It's one thing being snobby, but being both snobby and dishonest is a very bad attitude to run a business by, at least in my book.
I happily dined elsewhere on the island and should I go back I won't even consider...
Read moreVery nice setting but poor food and rude service. Cerviche was 90% lettuce and strawberries. Never have I been served cerviche like this so total con. Prawns in ouzo sauce consisted of frozen prawns in shells smothered in sauce. None of the prawns had been deveined - not acceptable for a restaurant of this pretension. Cod in batter with garlic sauce - frozen fish again with skin left on under the batter. Was presented the bill but waitress stood over me as if I shouldn’t check. 3€ each (6€) for stale toasted bread we hadn’t asked for is sharp practice. I queried it and said we hadn’t ordered it and eventually she took 3€ off from the 6€, I couldn’t be bothered to argue further. The waitress ripped the receipt off the card machine in an angry manner and slammed it down. Overall terrible attitude and...
