We went at this restaurant on a Saturday night Of July. We asked if there was an available table and a very gentle sir told us we could sit at a front, very nice table. The view was fantastic and up to this moment we were very happy with our choice. We ordered and waited for our food. Unfortunately though, 30’ later the hostess, called Ms. Voula, if i recall correctly, arrived and with a great attitude approached our table and asked us under which name was our reservation. We explained that we had none but we were told we could sit here. She showed her frustration to us and did a rube exasperation saying that this table was reserved. She tried to change us from the table and put us in one with no view which we denied mostly because of her bad attitude. All night she was extremely rude to us and we felt really unwelcome. We ate in stress and didnt enjoy it at all. Sadly, because the food was nice and the service staff also...
Read moreWe were for dinner on 15/08/24, 2 persons. I wanted to order one pizza for me and my husband something else. The head waiter (gentleman, dont know his name) informed me that there were no more pizzas available, so i ordered a salad. However, after 15 minutes, a family with 2 kids came to the next table and after a while both 2 kids were served pizzas. Initially i ignored this fact because i assumed that the pizzas for the kids were preordered. But while i was leaving the restaurant, to my suprise, i noticed another table that have been eating pizzas. In summary, the head waiter - man, was very arrogant, unwelcoming both during our entrace and during taking the orders. There are many other restaurants in spetses with higher food guality and...
Read moreWe ate at La Scala yesterday and it was fantastic! As other reviews mention, it was a real culinary experience. Every bite was delicious, and I have to add that we are quite picky customers. My partner is vegan, and I am vegetarian. The chef really adapted and made absolutely amazing vegan options that were not on the menu! You should ask for the tapenade olives (with delicious bread), then we had the beetroot carpaccio (omg!!), my partner had aubergine pasta without the cheese, which was sooo good. On my side, I had the cheese pizza (San Marco) – it was like the posh version of the four cheese pizza! Accompanied by a delicious Merlot red wine. Then we discussed with the owner/chef for a bit. We had a wonderful night. A must if you...
