Fat Mamma's Brunch n' Lunch — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

We spend 2 hours waiting for our food (not that complicated dish), the waitress was rude from the very beginning and she peaked till the end. Tried to order a single espresso but got something that was iced coffee, and she insisted that this is espresso cause it didn't have ice cubes (trust me I have drink lots of these buddies to begin my day and I really know what espresso is). She then started chatting about us, next to us and she kept looking at us for no reason. Brought five out of six forks and knives, we had to participate in the extremely complicated (NOT) calculation of paying our stuff and waited more cause they didn't have change. PS, we were offered a free pancake treat but it didn't make anybody change this review. I believed that this could be a nice place for brunching, due to the location and the other reviews BUT I would never ever go back to that place. Good luck...

I was in the mood for brunch and happened to walk by this place. I noted that most of the reviews said “bad service but good food,” but I had a bit of time, so I decided to try it anyway.

The menu has some English titles but all of the descriptions are in Greek. For example three items were listed as “scrambled eggs” but there was no way to distinguish between them unless you read Greek.

I asked if they had an English menu and the guy guy just said “no” and walked away—back to a completely empty restaurant. You’d think they’d take a foreign customer, but apparently they’d rather have no one, which is what they ended up with, because I just walked elsewhere. Why put the name of the restaurant in English if you don’t want any English speakers in your place?

No sense going here unless...

Ένα χάλι. Για να ξεκινήσω από τα θετικά του μαγαζιού, για να μην θεωρηθώ και προκατειλημμένος, το νερό βρύσης ήταν καλό και η σερβιτόρα εξυπηρετική και ευγενική. Αυτά. Στα αρνητικά τώρα, για αρχή η ατμόσφαιρα στην καλύτερη εκκωφαντική και σου δημιουργεί μια έντονη βαβούρα λίγο αφού κάτσεις. Στην κοπέλα μου που ζήτησε μαύρο τσάι της φέραν ένα φακελάκι Lipton χωρίς μέλι ή τίποτα, για 3€!! Για εμένα τώρα, όταν πήγα να παραγγείλω δεν είχαν τα μισά από τα φαγητά τους, και έπρεπε μάλιστα να τους θυμίσω και κάποια επιπλέον που έλειπαν από την προηγούμενη επίσκεψη μου καθώς είναι τόσα πολλά που πως να τα θυμούνται κιόλας.Να σημειωθεί πως σε οποίο τραπέζι και να έπεσε το μάτι μου όλα τα πιάτα ήταν μισοτελειωμένα, τυχαίο; ´Από τα ροφήματα πάλι δεν είχαν τίποτα από όλες τις επιλογές που είχαν στον κατάλογο παρά μόνο τα βασικά (απλή σοκολάτα, απλά επιλογές καφέ κλπ). Όταν εν τελει ήρθαν τα pancakes που παρήγγειλα ήρθα αντιμέτωπος με έναν Πύργο που στην κορφή του είχε μπουκωμένα όλα τα toppings, με ένα κιλό κρέμα τυριού, ούτε ίχνος από οποιοδήποτε seasoning ενώ τα pancakes τα ίδια ήταν σαν τούβλα από ψωμί, σκληρά κρύα άγευστα και ούτε στο ελάχιστο αφράτα. Γενικότερα κατέληξα να έχω πόνους στο στομάχι από το φούσκωμα που μου προκάλεσαν. Τέλος να πω ότι μην έρθετε χωρίς κάρτα, καθώς και στις 2 επισκέψεις που έκανα, με διαφορά μεταξύ τους 2 εβδομάδες, ήρθε ευγενικά η κοπέλα να μου πει ότι δεν έχουμε pos λόγω κάποιας βλάβης. (Να σημειωθεί ότι πλέον είναι υποχρεωτικό όλα τα καταστήματα,ποσό μάλλον τα τόσο πολυσύχναστα, να έχουν επιλογή κάποιας έστω ηλεκτρονικής πληρωμής, και ενώ κατανοώ τις βλάβες που μπορεί να υπάρξουν, έχουν περάσει και...
