This bar appears to cater to a student youth clientele in the evenings, although during my visit on a Sunday afternoon it was very quiet.
The interior is an eclectic mix of European, British and Jamaican Bar (Bob Marley Picture). The music was Christmas orientated and most were in English. The playlist appeared to be set and during the visit repeated at least once.
The bar had three keg taps selling larger as well as a fridge with a selection of 6 or 7 other beers of a similar style. The menu also appeared to sell wine and spirits, some of which were available on the carafe.
The food selection was standard greek in style, however what was on the menu and what was delivered was different in a number of ways. Some of the right ingredients but not in the order that was expected. Nothing was quite as tasty as local food tends to be and basic things like oil, lemon and vinegar (which went with the dishes we ordered) had to be requested separately.
Food arrived quickly, however when we asked questions about why the food that arrived was not what we ordered (salad was without cheese and had added walnuts) the response was "it depends what we have in the kitchen"

Read moreIf you are a student with little expectations on food and overall quality but just want to hang out with your friends and drink beers or wine then this place is for you. It is located on the the Main Street of Thessaloniki which if you are seating outside becomes very very noisy. Also the decor is random and lacks some basic consistency. It’s good if you are someone who we call “Bachalaki” in Greek. So the place loses a star on ambience. Let’s go the service now. It’s fast but amateurish. They win a star though on service because this is what this place is about. Amateur. Good quality is quite basic and portions are very small eg you order a portion of dolmades or zucchini balls and they bring 4 very small ones but then again this place is cheap. So in that sense it’s an ok...
Read moreI was considering visiting Jamaica for over a year. Lucky me, finally today I had the chance, and I am really glad about it. It is a proper "mezedopolyo", this kind of tavern where you ll go with your pals to ship a few glasses of ouzo, tsipouro, wine or beer and have a variety of small plates with a bunch of different flavors, and all these at very logical prices. Do not expect a fancy and glamorous place, but it still has a wonderful vibe and ambiance. The waitress (wearing a lovely carnival mask) was super polite and friendly. All dishes were flavorful but thumbs up for the fried potatoes with the egg. Overall it is...
