OTE Tower — Attraction in Municipality of Thessaloniki

Very interesting view, with friendly staff at the café. It's not their fault, but the café (skyline bar) needs better organization - don't assume that you can simply order a coffee! The first guy that came to our table was just responsible for ordering water, for a coffee order he sent me to the next guy at the bar, who sent me back to my table to wait for the third guy. At least we finally got our coffee. Double the price of a coffee in town, though. OK, the platform rotates, which is a nostalgic relic of the Sixties, for those who wish back the "good old times". We pre-booked the tickets, with the wine and cheese platter option, for £17. We arrived on time at 6pm and it was a bit hectic as it was the changeover between sittings. We had to find our own table and many hadn’t yet been cleared. But once settled it was a nice experience. We went at dusk so we could see the view in the daylight and after dark. It was extremely warm, so be sure to wear light layers. The cheese platter was quite small, more of an apperitivo than a light meal. But if you’ve had a large lunch you’ll be fine. Nice place for drinks with a wonderful view! However, I would not recommend pre-purchasing/reserving in advance.

We had reserved to have a glass of wine and charcuterie board around lunch time, and were shocked at the price in comparison to the size. No value for money whatsoever. The service was a bit slow and disorganized (never received napkins or silverware).
