Chilli Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

Staff were abrupt and unfriendly. We brought a 4 year old with us who was well behaved but it was obvious they didn't really want our custom. We had committed to eating here as we'd heard good things but our experience was not positive. Food to be fair was good . And about average price. Cocktails were overpriced and not very good . When we had finished the waitress cleared everything away including our table mats and didn't ask if we wanted anything else dessert or drink wise . When we asked for the bill we were told the total rather than recieving a bill so we had to ask for that . All in all a lovely looking restaurant . Chilli's is definitely the best lounge bar this beach has to offer. Down to the prices, staff, menu and view, everything was fantastic. We visited this lounge bar over 5x during our stay and we definitely intend to visit again in the future. The staff were so accommodating and managed to fit our family of 8 under two umbrellas, once without a reservation, which was amazing! The sun-beds were clean and comfortable and they even gave us extra bean bags and chairs when we couldn't all fit under an umbrella. You pay way to much for what you get. The description in the menu is far off the actual meal you get served. Strawberry vinaigrette was just plain marmelade, probably the one you get in small portions for breakfast and country potatoes were just normal french fries. The waitress wasn’t helpful at all and rather hung out with other staff members inside. The bread you get served by the salad was rock hard and the croutons were mushy soft.
