FOOD OVERHYPED AND NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!!

We had a group of 4 in our party. We also had reservations. Ambiance is fantastic, views are breathtaking and that’s about all we can say.

FOOD Food was not up to our standards. We ordered two chickens which were not cooked properly, the chicken was pink from the inside, we informed the waiter and they took both back to the kitchen. When they came back they just recooked the chicken we sent back so now it was burnt. The chicken didn’t have flavor was very bland. The manager came and apologized and said they would COMP us the two chicken entrees. When the check came they charged us for the two chicken entrees 32 euros a piece so a total of 64 euros. We questioned the bill with the waiter he said we took two back and we charged you for the two new chickens, even though they recooked the two the took. So their meaning of COMP is different then the ENTIRE WORLDS MEANING OF COMP!!

SERVICE Initially the waiter was good but once he found out we were not ordering drinks he checked out from the service.

OVERALL I would NOT recommend this location to anyone. They need to get their language straightened out about COMP. If we are still going to pay for the chicken then they shouldn’t say it was COMPED, it defeats the purpose of the...

We came here for my girlfriend’s 25th birthday and had an amazing evening. We went with high expectations and it over delivered

The location was 10/10, the sunset, the restaurant, the vibe, all were amazing. Potentially the best location and view from a restaurant I’ve ever been to.

Service was also very good, blankets were provided, birthday candles etc were also given to us, drinks and food was brought out promptly. Overall the service was great and I can’t fault it in any way.

Of course the food isn’t cheap but it didn’t disappoint. It wasn’t the best food I’ve ever had but I wasn’t disappointed. We went for black cod and lamp shanks for the mains. Block cod was lovely, lamp shanks were decent, I would say if I were to go again I would find an alternative for the lamp shanks.

We also had shrimp avocado tempura sushi which was 10/10 and the chicken wings which were also bang on.

Only downside, which is subjective; is a lot of people spend a lot of time taking lots of pics / vids of themselves and it becomes a bit much. Eg people near us spent the whole evening, taking pics of eachother.

Abbiamo prenotato due lettini in piscina al tramonto con anticipo di settimane e ci hanno chiesto conferma per email qualche giorno prima. Le informazioni dataci per email non sono state molto chiare: noi avevamo prenotato dei lettini in seconda fila, dal momento che quelli in prima fila non erano assegnabili perché destinati agli ospiti dell’hotel Cavo Tagoo. Sempre per email ci hanno però comunicato che per i lettini in seconda fila era necessaria una consumazione di €150 a testa (a differenza di quanto scritto nella conferma di prenotazione sul loro sito, che prevedeva una consumazione minima di €100 a testa). Solo dopo aver fatto notare la differenza, abbiamo ricevuto la versione definitiva di €100 a testa per i lettini in seconda fila e €200 a testa per i lettini in prima fila (non necessariamente destinati all’uso dei clienti dell’hotel, ma assegnabili al momento dell’arrivo in base alle disponibilità. In realtà i lettini in seconda fila non sono nell’acqua, ma leggermente fuori dalla piscina e si ha comunque una bellissima vista sul tramonto. Subito abbiamo notato il via vai di persone che in piedi stavano scattando foto al panorama e, non essendoci uno spazio delimitato per i lettini in seconda fila, capita di essere “disturbati” dalla presenza di persone intorno. Tutto questo finisce col tramonto, ma sarebbe consigliato destinare un’area per le foto con vista e delimitare la zona della piscina e dei tavoli a chi ha prenotato e vuole godersi la tranquillità. Fin da subito abbiamo notato anche una certa frettolosità da parte del personale nel voler prendere le ordinazioni e nelle portate dei piatti. Non abbiamo fatto in tempo a sederci che subito, oltre ai menù e alla carta dei vini e dei cocktail, ci é stato portato anche il listino prezzi per il narghilè (non richiesto e senza neanche chiederci se eravamo fumatori). In più due ragazzi di fianco a noi continuavano a fumare ed il fumo passivo si dirigeva verso di noi. É vero che eravamo all’aperto, ma l’avremmo evitato volentieri. Riguardo al menù, non sapendo cosa scegliere visti i tantissimi piatti e non avendo avuto il tempo necessario per decidere con calma, ci siamo affidati al menù degustazione con il supplemento di wagy, insieme ad un bicchiere di Assyrtico Estate. Il menù é buono e particolare con accostamenti ricercati. Anche il vino era buono ed é presente un ragazzo che se ne occupa esclusivamente, che però ci é sembrato troppo interessato a vendere, piuttosto che a consigliare. Noi abbiamo prenotato qui per trascorrere una serata in tranquillità (che esiste solo dopo il tramonto e dopo il termine della cena). Le cose negative quindi sono state il via vai di gente nei dintorni che rovinava l’atmosfera e la fretta con cui hanno portato il cibo, due portate alla volta, a volte sparecchiando anche i piattini dove stavamo finendo ancora di mangiare. Terminata la cena abbiamo potuto rilassarci, dato che molta gente era già andata via. Ci é stato chiesto anche se volevamo una coperta per non avere freddo. Siamo rimasti colpiti dal servizio di Joseph, davvero molto gentile e simpatico. Joseph parla bene l’italiano e con le sue battute e la sua disponibilità é stato sicuramente una delle note positive della serata. Da visitare una volta, ne vale la pena, ma chiedete assolutamente di rallentare le portate dei piatti e di riservarvi un lettino o un tavolo lontano dal via...
