This restaurant was the best seafood restaurant that we ever went. We had a platter of deep fried squids, two grilled fish (sea bass and dorado), and grilled shrimps (a Greek salad came along - so good). They were all just melting in our mouth. I had to tell the cook and the server that the dish was amazing and the server told us that the cook has a special way to prepare them, and not just grilling the ingredients on the fire, and we could totally feel that. My partner got the shrimp pasta. I don't want to be too harsh, but it was honestly so mediocre, which was especially disappointing considering the relatively high price. The tomato sauce was too sweet and not the best, and the shrimp themselves tasted tough and rubbery, like they'd been frozen- and all the flavor is on the shells. I got the dordas fish, which was pretty good. We got the house red, also pretty good, though a bit expensive. Waterside restaurant with delicious authentic Greek food and good house wine at very reasonable prices, with waves lapping and a spectacular view. All round, seemed far better than the busier restaurants on either side. Husband thought his fishplate with tomato/veg/paprika sauce excellent, and could not believe the amount of seafood for the price. The owner/chef has been cooking here for 40 years, and is passionate about what he does. Even brought husband into kitchen to explain how he had cooked the dish.
