Taverna 37 — Restaurant in Municipality of Vari - Voula - Vouliagmeni

Undoubtedly location is a solid 5. But I suppose anywhere that's right on the sea front is a solid 5. The service was very good and the people were really giving it their best. The food was a terrible disappointment. But maybe that is because I am greek and I know how greek food really tastes especially when the produce is in season, like tomatoes and cucumbers are in August. The food was absolutely flat. Without attention to detail. I mean how flat can a Greek (horiatiki) be in August? Yet it was. Absolutely indifferent and for 28 euros that is major! Maybe it's the fact that i am greek and i know how home-made stuffed vine leaves taste like that made me wonder whether the ones we were served were home-made or caned-made. Most likely that later. French fries were cold. Second bread that came was stale. And finally, because I can go on but I really don't want to, the lobster with the pasta. Most ingredients covered the delicate taste of the lobster, too much tomatoe and way too much oil so much that there was hardly any lobster taste. And as far as the pasta goes it was so over-cooked it was sad. I mean really over-cooked. I was attending a family lunch and I didn't want to upset anyone at my table otherwise half of the food I would have sent it back. For 100 euros per person I would have expect more "respect". Wir haben drei Tage im four seasons verbracht. Das Hotel und der Pool perfekt super Service. Wirklich purer Luxus, wie man es eigentlich auch erwartet. Sehr professionell, sehr seriös! Da wir öfters in solchen Resort unterwegs sind, haben wir auch nichts anderes erwartet. Da es eigentlich aber hier um die Taverne 37 geht kommen wir zum Wesentlichen. Die Frau Christina vom Pool hat Für uns einen Tisch reserviert, der eigentlich in der Taverne nicht eingetragen wurde. Allerdings schiebe ich den Fehler nicht auf die Frau Christina, sondern auf die Mitarbeiter von der Taverne, da ich Sie auch gesehen habe, wie Sie an den Hörer gegangen ist ,nachdem meine Anfrage kam. Der Service in der Taverne 37 war extrem langsam obwohl die Lokalität schlecht besucht war in der Zeit , so circa 16:30 Uhr. Wir haben mit der Uhr genau 20 Minuten lang auf die Getränke gewartet. Es waren nur 2 Wasser und ein paar Biere. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber auch nichts besonderes. Geschmacklich, wie man es sonst noch von Tavernen kennt. Allerdings waren unsere Zucchinipuffer roh. Die Beilage vom Fisch meiner Tochter wurde vergessen, der Service unaufmerksam und nicht freundlich eher uninteressiert. Private Gespräche haben wir natürlich auch mitgehört. Was uns allerdings wirklich gestört hat, da wir auch geladene Gäste dabei hatten die vier liegen am Pool 520 € bezahlt haben und mit Getränken noch mal ein tausender Umsatz hatten .Als wir sowieso so lange auf die Bestellung gewartet haben. Ich rede jetzt erst mal nur von den Getränken und wir saßen genau vor der BAR hab ich mich entschieden kurz ins Wasser zu gehen an den kleine Strand links, um mich kurz zu erfrischen.. Apropo getränke es wurde nur auf Nachfrage Wasser nachgefüllt. Wir saßen öfters vor leeren Gläsern, ohne dass jemand zu uns am Tisch kam. Lasst doch die Flaschen am Tisch wenn ihr nicht fähig seid, diesen Service anzubieten. Nachdem ich nach 5min wieder am Tisch saß kamm kam ein Mitarbeiter mit Glatze zu uns am Tisch und hat mich darum gebeten vor unseren GÄSTEN diesen Fehler nicht mehr zu begehen, als ob ich ein Kind vom Kindergarten wäre. Manieren werde ich dem“ Herren“ bestimmt nicht beibringen. Und mich in der Art auch indirekt beleidigt hat?! „Ich fragte?? Ich verstehe nicht warum, warum man als Hotelgast nicht ans Meer gehen kann.? Er meinte, das wäre unsere Geschäftspolitik.“ Mit dieser Geschäftspolitik bin ich natürlich nicht einverstanden. Also rate zukünftigen Gästen davon ab, die in einem Resort buchen und über 3000 € pro Übernachtung bezahlen, nicht ins Meer zu gehen, sobald die sich in der Taverne hingesetzt haben. Sonst kommt der große Chef (Oberkellner, was auch immer)von der TAVERNE und weist einen ein ! Chapeau! Ich verrate ihnen mal was im AMANZOE dürfte ich letzte Woche im Restaurant unten essen und sogar das Meer besuchen was für ein Wunder! We had the most magical experience tonight at Taverna 37 — and it was my birthday dinner so extra points for that!

Where to start — the location, views, and relaxing ambience are out of this world. The decor is traditional yet chic, but without trying too hard. The menu is authentic and excellent.

With the slight exception of the lamb chops (a little chewy), everything we had was fantastic. Dakos, Briam, fried calamari, zucchini croquettes, bifteki were all amazing. To top it all off, I had ordered a cake from the hotel’s amazing pastry chef, and it was truly exceptional.

The service was so, so attentive and friendly — looking after not just the food but the wellbeing of everyone in the group.

The two musicians who played live were incredible — easily recording artist level.

It’s not cheap, but it is an amazing place, fully in line of what would be expected at a four seasons restaurant and yet authentic and original...
