Like we say in the south of the Netherlands: Das goei'n andel! (that's some good food!). The service is beyond excellent and welcoming. Toilets are spotless. Food is awesomely prepared (try to charcoal grill white pork yourself and you'll see how difficult it is to get it this moist but still have all the thick fat crispy). Portion sizes are huge and prices are relatively low, especially if you consider that the ambiance feels like (is!!) a high end stakehouse. It was unreal to dine here two nights consecutively after making it through 2 contrasting weeks of Sicily and Santorini in terms of price/quality balance. We barely ever write reviews but this place deserves one. They have vision and this translates to a huge menu selection and exactly what's necessary to create a top experience, staying true to themselves, even though 99% of comparable establishments in this region go for easy tourist money. There's an open kitchen and it seems they do takeaway as well. Staff is professional, polite, warm and friendly (also not a given around here) and speak fluent English.
If we have to mention one point for improvement it would be that the music is a little loud (but that is just a personal preference).

Tucked into a cozy corner of town, this gyro restaurant is a true delight for anyone craving fresh, flavorful Greek food. From the moment you walk in, the warm aroma of seasoned meat and grilled pita wraps around you like a welcome hug. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is quick without ever feeling rushed.
The star of the menu, of course, is the gyro. Whether you go for the classic lamb, tender chicken, or a vegetarian option, every bite is packed with flavor. The meat is juicy and perfectly spiced, the tzatziki is cool and creamy with just the right hint of garlic, and the pita bread is soft, warm, and slightly crispy on the edges. The portions are generous, but everything is so delicious it’s hard not to finish it all.
Sides like crispy fries, fresh Greek salad, and dolmas make great additions to the meal, and the baklava for dessert is a must-try—sweet, flaky, and satisfying. Whether you’re grabbing lunch on the go or sitting down for a casual dinner, this place hits the spot. It’s a no-fuss, high-quality gyro experience that leaves you full and happy every time. Definitely worth...
Read moreWe had dinner again at Tilixto in Vouliagmeni tonight – and as always, it was absolutely amazing!
The place is super cozy and located almost right by the sea. From our table in the first row we had a beautiful view.
Food & Drinks: • The Ergo Sauvignon Blanc is an excellent white wine – fresh, aromatic, and with a fantastic price-performance ratio. • The Gyros in pita is our favorite. We always order it with mustard sauce instead of onions & tzatziki – highly recommended! • The beetroot salad with feta, tzatziki, cabbage-carrot salad, skewers, and the tagliata (tender filet with grilled vegetables) were all delicious and perfectly seasoned. • Also worth trying: the fries with cheese, the Greek village salad, and the baked feta with tomatoes, onions, and peppers – simply amazing.
Service: The staff is wonderful – attentive, friendly, and always helpful. A big thank you to Panos, Alexandra, and Marius, who make every evening there truly special.
Conclusion: Excellent food, great service, a stunning location, and unbeatable value for money. For us, one of the best restaurants in Vouliagmeni – absolutely...
