AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! Our experience was absolutely appalling, and I'm still fuming just thinking about it. I don’t know if it’s because we’re asian and it’s racially motivated but from the moment we walked in, it was clear that the staff had a serious attitude problem. They gave us a once-over, and it was like they didn't want us there. We were a party of 3, they gave us dirty looks and seated a party of 4 before us when we were ahead, and then brought us to a tiny table meant for 2 with dirty, stained plates. The service was painfully slow, and when I asked to change seats because it was freezing outside, the tattooed server (guy in black jacket) scoffed at me and told me to wait for another server. I was taken aback by the rudeness. They just refused to serve us multiple times. The food was mediocre at best, and the presentation was laughable - plates stacked on top of each other on a tiny table. But what really took the cake was the blatant disregard for our needs. It took 40 minutes for the bill to come, and I had to ask for it multiple times. (The same tattooed server was staring right at us when we asked for it AGAIN and just rolled his eyes away!) When I finally went to the counter to ask for it, I couldn't help but notice that the staff were friendly and attentive to the white customers, but completely dismissive and rude to us. The only redeeming quality was the entertainment, but it was too little, too late. The whole experience reeked of racism, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was intentional. The dirty looks, the slow service, the subpar food - it all added up to a toxic atmosphere that made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE. Unless they seriously revamp their service and attitude, I'd advise everyone to steer clear.

The food was truly delicious. The seafood risotto was probably the best dish that I had during my stay in the island. Congratulations to the chef. However I am terribly disappointed with the behaviour of our server. He was extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment that we stepped into the restaurant. Yet when we asked for the bill he was being very uncooperative and rude. We asked to split half in cash and half in card. It took him a long time to come back with the receipts. When the first person in our group tried to pay he asked for a tip and she told him to add one euro (since we would all add our part of the tip when it was time to pay). He said that he can’t accept one euro because the machine only accepts three euros and more. He didn’t explain why and he was very unpleasant and sharp with his answers. He eventually did put the one euro tip and kept on saying that we don’t know how restaurants work and that he needs a higher tip. It took us around 20 minutes to pay for our food even though we were only 5 people. Its a shame since the attitude of the server does not match the quality of the restaurant.

We visited Axinos Paros with a reservation although we had to wait a little bit before being seated, the staff managed everything smoothly and with good energy. The location itself is very nice, with a lively setting that immediately gives off a festive vibe. As for the food, what we tried ranged from ok to very good, but nothing that felt truly exceptional. To be fair, we didn’t order a main course, so perhaps those are stronger. Still, the dishes we did have were enjoyable and nicely presented. The real highlight here is the atmosphere. If you’re looking for a quiet or romantic dinner, this might not be the right spot, but if you enjoy dining in a lively environment with music and energy, Axinos delivers. At some point, the music gets loud, and the whole party vibe begins, complete with the famous paper towel celebration, which was fun to watch and definitely memorable. Overall, it’s a nice place to experience once while in Paros, especially if you want a mix of food and entertainment in one evening.

I have to say this is by far the worst restaurant we have ever eaten in in all of Greece! One thing I look forward to in Greece yearly is the amazing food!! My experience has been anything you get is absolutely delicious! Except here! We sat here on our first night in Paros and would never recommend anyone to go. The atmosphere is very nice, right on the harbor with an amazing view, but that’s where it ends. My husband ordered the stuffed calamari which he said was aweful. My one son really wanted pasta with chicken in cream sauce and they said they could make that for him. What he got was spaghetti with chicken in a pink sauce with a very funny flavor. My other son ordered the seafood linguini but it wasn’t very good, calamari tasted funny. I asked for grilled shrimp with rice on the side. I asked them to clean the shrimp in the kitchen because I know in Greece they tend to serve whole shrimp. After waiting about 10 minutes they brought out a plate of rice for me and we thought our food was on its way. 20 minutes later they finally brought out our food after making a complaint to the waiter. My rice was ice cold by this time and of course my shrimp was not cleaned and tasted awful. When I complained to the server that my rice was now ice cold he told me he could bring it back and warm it up for me! I politely declined and just left it at that. We all ended our meal unanimously saying we hated the food. Then we got the bill. We were charged 6 Euro for bread we never asked for! I’ve recently realized they now charge you for bread but usually the waiter asks you if you want any first. And it’s usually around 2-3 Euro. We were never asked and we have never paid 6 Euro before! Quite a steep price! Our total bill was 80 Euro for the worst...

Booked Axinos with my girlfriend because Barbossa was supposedly overhyped, and we wanted the famous napkin-swing vibe. Cute atmosphere, but the service? Terrible.

We started with calamari and drinks (espresso martini + passion fruit margaritas). Both were mid — margaritas way too sweet, but I didn’t care much.

For mains, I ordered the grouper with spinach, and she ordered the seafood risotto. The waiter repeated my order as “the grouper with the spinach,” which I thought was weird because the menu already says it comes with sautéed spinach. But whatever.

Her risotto comes out(mid, mussels overcooked)… my grouper never shows. We wait 20–30 minutes, finally flag the waiter, and he casually admits he forgot to put it in. At that point, she’s done eating, so I decline. Waiter tried to offer to bring in 3 minutes - but I was annoyed by this point. They didn’t charge me for it — but there was no apology, no comp for drinks, no gesture to make it right. Just a shrug and the full bill for everything else.

For a place that markets itself as a premium dining experience, that’s unacceptable. If you’re skipping Barbossa thinking this is better, don’t. At least there, you’ll prob actually...
