An amazing experience and a must in Naousa. Granted, you might have to wait a little to be seated, even if you have a reservation. While you wait, maybe just pop up in the little store around the corner, buy a cold one, and enjoy it while you witness the skillful, hardworking staff orchestrate this lively, lovely crazy restaurant. See? Lots of fun and we didn’t even get to the table yet. Once you are seated, enjoy absolutely everything that surrounds you, for the beautiful old Naousa port (which means “this is not USA” in Greek true story-) is one fantastic place to be, and you should count yourself lucky to be here. The food, oh the food. We began with the grilled sardines which were an explosion of flavors. We also took -as a starter- the orzo, knowing is not a starter but aware that we are on holidays and we do whatever we want in whatever order we please. Then we were guided by Panagiotis, a legend who manages the restaurant, to chose our fresh, fish at the kitchen. We had a grilled Cernia (or grouper), that weighting around 1.6kg (you do the conversion), was big enough to feed three hungry adults and delicious enough to remind us why being a fisherman is a biblical type of job because … God that was good. As any good concert, encores are a must, and deserts are included in your service so you don’t even have to make a choice. Trust me, GO.

We had dinner at Tsachpinis and unfortunately it turned out to be an extremely disappointing experience. After more than an hour of waiting, only one main course arrived, while the second was served about 15 minutes later – making it impossible to eat together. Despite several inquiries, we kept being told the food was “coming soon,” which was not the case. When it came to the bill, the issues continued: drinks were listed twice and the fish recommended by the waiter was charged at €60, with no mention of the price beforehand. When I pointed this out, I was taken aside and told, “What do you think something like this should cost?” – all while the waiter kept smiling in a way that felt dismissive and disrespectful. To me, it seemed almost deliberate, especially since the duplicate charges on the bill didn’t feel like a coincidence. My impression: there is no transparency, and it feels like confusion is being used intentionally. A truly negative experience, poor service, poor value, and definitely not a place I would recommend.

We went yesterday evening at this restaurant; ordered grilled shrimps; (which in the menu is obvious 13 eu, whereas in the bill it was 18 eu; the plate of shrimps had in it also a small bowl with some sos; which was also charged 6 euros more for this. Usually the sos near the shrimps is included in the price but this was totally untrue. So for just 4 shrimps we were eaten 11 euro more. Also the bread ehich was brought for 2 persons and cost 4 euros; was very bad not even fresh. Probably leftovers. I liked the salad with biscotato bread and tomatoes; and my boyfriend took linguine with shrimps that tasted good; the rest as i said! Disappointing! Even if the sos was extra price they had to let us know because we did not ordered it. Unfortunately I forgot to make picture of the bill

Highly recommended by my hotel I went to book a reservation. In my 26 years of travelling alone I have never been treated so poorly by a restaurant. I stopped by midday to get a reservation. I was told by manager that if I arrived around 6-6:15 I would have no troubles getting a table. I arrived at 6:15 sharp and there were around 5 tables with people out of a restaurant that seats 60 tables plus. The staff were flustered from the beginning as I said table for 1. It took 4 waiters to finally decide what soul would wait on me. Finally it’s determined I can be seated but I must leave by 7:00-7:30pm to ensure they can use my table I had reserved for others. Mind you I didn’t pick the table they selected it. As I was seated the waiter made a ton of recommendations. I wanted to order a bottle of wine but was recommended a glass since I wasn’t booked in for long enough. I could not believe this time limit. It’s not high season nor as a solo traveler am I asking for accommodations than any other patron of their restaurant. I was understanding and ordered a glass of wine. My starters arrived but they brought me a small piece of bread that I could not even finish my appetisers because I didn’t have enough. I literally raised my hand 7 times and my waiter overlooked me every time. He made eye contact so it was totally intentional. Again less than 5 tables of less than 20 people total were seated and they had at best 15 waiters checking in on others. My food came and it was wrong. It took exactly 15 min to get someone’s attention as when they came to bring wine to the table directly beside me he turned his back to my table. I flagged down someone finally by getting up from my dinner and letting them know. With exactly 15 minutes left of my timed dinner they brought my grilled octopus out with my potato’s cold. Literally it had sat out for so long it wasn’t even warm and tasted chewy. At 7:29 on the dot my waiter came to have me pay the bill. My bill was over €50 as I was treating myself for my birthday dinner. They sure to asked me if I wanted to tip seeing I was American. I did leave only a €5 tip and still feel cheated out of a nice evening meal in this gorgeous city.

After meeting someone on my boat the next day their same sentiments were given for their experience.

Edited to add photos because the restaurant wants to claim I...

Nestled in the heart of Paros, this restaurant is a true gem for seafood lovers. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an inviting atmosphere and the promise of a memorable dining experience. The star of the show, without a doubt, is the seafood. Each dish was a testament to freshness and flavor, from the succulent grilled octopus to the perfectly seared sea bass. The chefs clearly know their craft, and the quality of the ingredients shines through in every bite.

But what truly elevates this restaurant is the exceptional service. Our server, Vladimir, was outstanding. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food. He offered insightful recommendations, anticipated our needs, and made us feel incredibly welcome. His knowledge of the menu and his ability to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere added significantly to our experience.

Overall, this restaurant in Paros is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable seafood experience. The combination of exquisite food, a charming ambiance, and top-notch service, especially from Vladimir, makes it a true standout. Highly...
