Krios Lounge — Restaurant in Paros Municipality

I’m not one to leave reviews as I always seem to forget, but this place is far too memorable to forget. It has a beautiful and relaxing vibe to it. Gently nestled right by the ocean. The only thing more beautiful than the location it self being the lovely staff that took such good care of us. We ordered a liter of the rose sangria, which was a pleasantly refreshing choice. Along with one of the best homemade lemonades I’ve ever had. The most well balanced sweet, yet delightfully tart drink. They were kind enough to give us a complementary sample of there tuna and octopus carpaccio, the octopus being one of the highlights, drizzled in the most tasty of olive oils. We were also given a sample of their gazpacho soup, who knew a soup could taste so wonderful served cold! We also ordered there Greek ragu and chicken skewers. The ragu being one the best pastas I’ve had in Greece! Every rich delightful bite even better than the last. And there chicken, so perfectly well seasoned my every taste bud screamed with joy! I can’t say enough good things about this place!! Prices are reasonable, the staff is beyond kind, and setting is amazing and not too crowded like many others. Unexpected unwelcoming. We went to the Marcelo beach for the first time and we got lost between all the small roads. We stumbled upon Krios Lounge and decided to stay and have a drink. We checked their beach out and found that it was extremely rocky. You could break a foot. After We had a drink, we decided to check another place right beside (on the same strip) but asked before hand if it were okay if we left our car at there restaurant and they said YES. We spent the rest of of morning at Rondo beach. When we came back our car was blocked (by 2 cars and a large rock). We asked the staff kindly of Krios for help but with a grinch smile they said they don’t know and left laughing. I went by myself and found the owner of the car that blocked us. He was surprised. He said that they told him it was okay to block other cars completely off and to park anywhere. So sad that staff treat tourists like that. We went out for lunch here and did not have a good experience. The service was sub par at best, just the water took a very long time to bring out, not to talk about bringing our food. Given the fact that the restaurant was empty, we expected faster service. The food itself was not very good, and very expensive, so was the water and there wasn’t an option to have tap water. We got the green salad and Greek salad. The green salad had barely any quinoa and was filled with lettuce to give the appearance of a full salad but it was way too expensive for the small amount of “superfoods” that were in it. The Greek salad came with a full tomato that was not even sliced, and the vegetables in it were not fresh as expected.
